I really HATE the moral dilemma that this drama is creating with me. On the one hand HMH’s stunts look AMAZING.…
I understand why it feels uncomfortable. I just don’t think depicting a fictional romance automatically equals exploitation, especially if the production was conducted professionally and safely.
Acting is performance, not a real relationship. The question is whether the production protects the minor actor professionally and ethically, not whether the audience is endorsing adult-minor dating.
The legal consent age for different countries is different. 16-17, for some, can carry enough maturity, whilst some adults are in toxic relationships; no matter if they’re a minor or not is dangerous. The difference is whether they’re exploited/have agency/ have consent or not.
If it’s just for professional purposes, actors are trained to separate between work and life. The thing that gives me great confidence is that both Amy and HMH are highly educated individuals that come with principles and boundaries judging from their clean reputation by far.
Even though I can’t guarantee what happens in the future, but this is enough for me for now to enjoy watching this series. If it’s still uncomfortable for you, you can always not watch it until it airs and we’ll screen it first for you guys.
too late for that. it’s airing soon, just enjoy the ride, it’s just fiction at the end of the day; or just…
some c-dramas’ take on romance does not include visually intimate scenes, as in, sometime there aren’t even any kissing scenes. more on the feelings /chemsitry that develops over the characters’ development. the ML had a drama that had no kissing scene with his pair. but we’ll see after this airs. i think we’re just too used to seeing hollywood romance movies.
hoping more producers will cast him in a higher budget action movies/series after this, because that MV was FAIYAAAR 🔥 THE STUNTS, THE ACTING, THE SINGING!! Top notch!!
when he didn’t debut with NCT i was so sad. but i’m glad that he didn’t because, frankly, i think his career…
yes, he would’ve had more songs produced but now he has a more rich repertoire and became a very unique artist. He will have more creative libery to choose the type of songs he wants to sing too, as idols are generally more “manufactured” in a sense that other people usually just compose the songs for them. I think he now has a chance to co-write with producers.
A cross time duet of “ZheShiAi / This is Love” from the Nanjing concert and 9 years ago. He has always been a great singer. It took a long time but he finally was able to hold his own concert. Dreams really do come true.
The sisters at the scene said that Xiao Hou cried. How could he not cry?
It was his lifelong dream to stand on the stage and have a concert that was truly his own. Xiao Hou's path has never been easy. He learned musical instruments from a young age and practiced the accordion to level 10, won various awards. He participated in a choir was selected by SM. Then, when his mother fell ill and he returned to China, he chose a domestic agency to form a boy group and debut. However, the path of a boy group is difficult to follow, so he entered the acting track.
In my opinion, he was born to shine on the stage. The company didn't give him many resources for acting or singing. He did various guest roles and finally got a lead role in a small web drama through an audition. This drama allowed him to gain a foothold in the acting industry. He experienced the ups and downs of the entertainment industryand witnessed various injustices and lows. He was able to persevere and start over. More and more people came into this circle because of his dramas. When they really started to dig into his background and understand him, they were shocked to find that he is an inexhaustible treasure. He moved the audience with his roles time and time againand let his music gradually win over the listeners. Ten years of hard work have finally shown itself. Now is the perfect time to unleash his talent. Hou Minghao! Fly bravely. Kiwis will always be with you!
But he said he was gonna release his song today? Where can I stream it? I can only listen to snippets of it on people’s fancams!! 😭😭😭 Please release your single soon! #sorryfortherant it sounds sooo good!!
There is no shortage of handsome guys in the entertainment industry; but to find a guy so handsome, so talented, so hardworking, so dedicated, so detailed, so sincere with his fans; it’s like finding a gem. I am so happy to see snippets of him enjoying himself so much. And his performance seems to be so much better and relaxed compared to last year. Then at the end, when he sang “qing bu yao li kai wo de hui yi” — “please don’t leave my memory” he was teary eyed… kiwis are like; “from now on we’ll cry happy tears, okay”. I’m so proud of my kitten, he has finally reached the starting point of his dream. I’m so glad to be a fan of this wonderfully inspiring person. I can’t wait to see the heights you will soar to. HMH!! 😭😭😭
The picture of HMH’s concert giftbag is so impressive.. So envious of Chinese Kiwis who managed to get the tickets right now… 🤣🤭🥹 he really dotes on his fans.. I hope I can one day attend his concert
his concerts are so in demand they just sold out in an instant, even ticket resellers are having a difficult time getting them 🥹🤭i wonder how international fans will get a chance then 😭😭😵 happy for him but crying inside hahaa
after singing the two words baobei (baby) the c-kiwis on site screamed so loudly that his in-ear monitor blew out and he couldn’t hear anything, he had to signal them to fix it! 🤣🤭 but we really didn’t notice anything if he hadn’t explained, he sounded so stable! how professional of him hahahaa
you know, the first time I heard his singing voice was in BftB/Huxin’s OST ♥️♥️♥️ but it’s not on Spotify in my Country 😭it’s greyed out.. but that didn’t stop me.. that year sui yue bu dai ren became my most listened to song on Spotify
