I think there are two reasons for the characters' reactions, since only a few of them knew the truth: the four demons and LJ. So far, we've only seen the reactions of LJ, Baize, and Hanba. One reason is that Wsg is not yet a complete dragon and cannot assume the role of dragon deity. Whereas JiLing was placed in that position by the original deity itself, until the next dragon could assume that post. So until then, they need to act this way. And the second point is that they have been together for years, while Wsg has just arrived. And we can't forget that Bai ze, even having a strong bond with JL, didn't think twice about giving the rest of the power to Wsg; Hanba should be next. The other two are already dead.
I didn't expect Hanba to be sooooo cute, I just hope it stays that way in the next episodes. I was so excited to see HuaSen, and especially to see Rui wearing red braids, I want to see what GJM did with those braids.
And we should see Sun Chen Jun's character soon too, JinJin will finally have her fiancé.
Ah, the girls' costumes were already some of my favorites during filming and they got even better on screen, Lwy looked perfect in blue😂
