Exactly, besides all the other love stories told throughout the series, they seemed to have much more depth. If they had followed the line of we are friends like brother and sister, it would have been great too. There everyone was willing to sacrifice themselves, just for the fact of feeling like a big family, that was more than enough.

Some things get really confusing, I wonder if sometimes it's a translation problem too. The whole story developing around Yanzhou is understandable, but in a way it diminishes the Goddess's game. We weren't able to see any moment of evolution, she was better in the first episode, it seemed like she would be totally different, and then she was stagnant when she fell in love. I would much prefer if there was nothing romantic there. I would accept a story of friendship, in search of salvation and that's it. It would be enough. I don't understand why they see the need to put romance in everything. I also intend to watch FoF again, I think it's a beautiful series even with these flaws.
