Fang mujing and her mother try to reconnect but both are stubborn, so with a little visit from the dr the mother…
Cuz deep down she was always selfish, using people and discarding them when they weren’t useful to her anymore. She only cared about herself and that’s why she got that ending.
Kudos to the casting director, they all look like the characters they are playing, especially the actress playing Feng Lin. She has the face that suits the character, her facial expressions are on point. She brings violence and rage out of me, the actress should get some recognition as she’s really good… maybe too good 😤👏.
Since last year, all I’ve had is disappointment with endings so I’m holding my breathe here. I have already planned my rant on here if they give us an idiotic ending.

You are right, they are not good people to have as acquaintances or friends. They clearly show that they don’t care about their own bodies or health, why expect that they will care about you. I can understand back in the days when people really didn’t know the dangers of alcohol for example. They drank without knowing but it’s different today, the information is available. We don’t want to be friends with people who don’t care about themselves. If someone needs alcohol to be interesting, then he/she is not interesting to begin with.

Exactly. Us making healthier choices or morally conscious choices will make them uncomfortable. It’s because we act as “mirrors” to them, they get to really look at themselves. Misery likes company so they only want to be around likeminded people. Deep down it has nothing to do with you, they are just uncomfortable with themselves when they look at you. It could be anything, here it’s alcohol but other times it’s sodas like you said, eating healthier, dressing more respectable, speaking properly etc…
I understand liking to drink. The part I don’t understand is why people won’t invite a non-drinker out. I’ll…
I think it’s because people don’t want to be reminded that what they are doing is unhealthy. If there’s a non drinker, the ones who drink will start questioning their own behavior. They also realize that they are not interesting if they don’t intoxicate themselves.
