I agree with you 100%. Lechen’s personality really shows how ugly and arrogant he is. He acts like avoiding direct answers makes him mature, but in reality it makes him look childish. A grown man should know how to communicate clearly, especially when someone’s feelings are involved. Instead, he kept giving Duoduo half-hints and never said anything straight to her face. For him maybe it was “obvious,” but for Duoduo it was not. That’s selfish only thinking about his own perspective, not hers.The car scene was the best example. Duoduo said something very normal that when she’s in a relationship, she takes it seriously and thinks about marriage. Honestly, that’s what many women (and men) do. But instead of just smiling and calmly saying his own view, Lechen made this big, exaggerated reaction like she was forcing him to marry her on the spot. That was so disrespectful. He basically turned her into a joke for the audience, which is why so many people now insult Duoduo unfairly. That’s on him, not her.This kind of behavior shows why his past relationships didn’t last. He communicates like a child, avoids responsibility, and then acts like he’s above it all.
