not really, the cast is barely C listed, so it can not be considered as S leveled drama, however it can get to that level when it starts airing and if does well, hope it happens bc it seem really interesting
okay i see the guy from i am nobody s2, he was impressive in that show, his face acting is impressive, i have seen an actor who can act with his face muscles like him
i am giving this a chance even tho i see song wei long and his acting is..... and liu haocun did not do well in her just finished airing drama but i believe it is not her genre bc i have seen her before and she is good, so i hope it is at least watchable since there is nothing good to watch atm

so basically, koreans slay modern dramas esp the thriller and they usually have the best production, for japanese it is horror and the chinese historical dramas and movies
am i the only one who thinks that that solo poster of park bogum wearing blue where is blood coming down his head and only his side profile showing looks nothing like him, i thought that was the actor who usually plays a villain, in s2 of weak class hero, and that movie with shin hye sun, his name is something like jinyoung or junyoung????

as someone who watches all the things you mentioned, let me tell you what to expect.... first if you are into chinese movies that means you have seen the best actors and performances of the chinese television, bc as much as i love chinese dramas, the drama actors cannot compete with the movies actors esp the idol dramas actors, if you want dramas with talented actors, watch more serious dramas and i suggest you to check douban high rated dramas bc mdl higheset rated drama are basically idol dramas of famous actors, idol dramas are not bad at all and the actors also are good but not as good if you have very high expectations , and i am saying this bc i have checked your list and i know you will be looking as those dramas like they are some kid made dramas😭😭😭 esp that you are into old school hong kong movies, you already have pretty high standards, i also recommend watching old historical dramas like nirvana in fire, the new ones i recommend the bad kids, the long season, day and night.... if you want something fresh yet good i recommend reset, meet yourself, and joy of life...
i remember crying like a kid watching my liberation notes bc i see myself in mijeong and here i am crying over this bc i can relate to miji, when her co worker said nobody knows you lied and she said I KNOW, i felt that in my stomach, other knowing your struggles hurts but you knwing your problem yet not being able to change a thing is a whole dif level of pain
you definitely dont watch bai lu dramas, if you had watched dramas like ordinary gretness, one and only/forever…
the dif between me and you is that you are a hard fan and i am a fan of cdrama not actors, you love whatever your favs give you but i watch what is good, calling someone a hater just bc they they did not share the same opinion as you is childish.
wow this is really hard to watch sorry, watched 3 eps and half and felt like someone is holding a knife on my neck to watch it 😭 as much as i love zeng shunxi , i will skip this one, as for bailu i felt like watching the same drama over and over... she has been choosing terrible scripts for the last few years, even her acting keeps getting worse, i guess she trying to improve but indeed up overreacting , bring back one and only and forever and ever bailu....
we will be waiting for at least a month to get a good drama which is a dream within a dream, bc the line up for this month looks pretty disappointing, i guess i will rewatching some of my fav probably joy of life or i will be watching a movie per day
