wow i just read the synopsis, this is veeeeery serious

is it only me or xiaotong looks a bit like jing tian andthey both fit binbins visual so well

the ml was the son of a friend of the fls fathers and his parents died so the fls father took care of him but then the fls parents got a divorce and she stayed with her mom while he left with the dad but later he cut ties with the dad as well

finally a fl who is actually normal, she looks worried when thing do not go the way she wants, she is not written like a main lead who knows that everything will be fine bcuz she is the main character

the ml looks like he belongs to 2025, everything about him is so modern, everybody else looks fine and they look like they belong to that period, i guess it is the haircut and the fits

i love both leads so i am giving this a try

omggg i can not stop smiling watching them being sweet esp ep 5 when he spelled the name wrong and she started teasing him 😭😭 they are so cute

please somebody tell me he is not the great father, i can not enjoy those sweet moments thinking he is 😭😭😭 those who read the novel, save meeee

lol the way they felt like committing a sin when he bowed to them, but felt nothing when he was doing the dishes, the great father has no value no more

i do not think that is the real great father, it would be so weird if so, i guess the real one died and lin yan was his friend or servant who is seeking revenge for the family

lol even yuning is still stuck in here and can not move one or choose a new script, he said this drama is his best and that it raised his standard while choosing scripts and he is so real, this is my fav drama of him, nothing can beat it for me, and happy that he is careful when choosing his projects bcuz we need some quality we barely get any good drama in the recent years

putting this on hold for now until it finishes airing waiting for doubans rating bcuz it is more accurate with people talking about the actual plot and the pros and cons of each drama, mdl is full of idol fans who are there just for the actors rather than the script, and waiting to see if it gets more interesting, the first 7 eps were like watching a loop same thing happens with dif costumes, that is why modern dramas should have less than 24 eps in my opinion bcuz they keep dragging things to make it longer which makes dramas boring, and this is kind of a joke but i am really craving some eye candy haha, both male leads are not attractive for me which makes it even harder, watching william in idol dramas was always hard for me esp the scene when he was cooking and acting cute, oh man it was a hard watch
