Youku already cut some budget on thier other dramas to maximize the production cost.


Also, it's so normal in cdrama to cut some eps, it's either from the production or from the censorship.. This is not even a new process here in cdrama... Always remember Chinese dramas will always review by the NRTA (China is very strict so don't try to compare with kdramas or western dramas)

You forget about ABO Desire, it's available on Youku International but later on it got restricted or didn't release (or continue airing on Youku International)...
NRTA has a right to view the content also on the international version of Youku, Tencent Video, IQIYI and MangoTV since this platform are originally from China and NRTA can still go inside...

The real hint, if your old cdrama watcher and have a Chinese version (for sure you already know what I mean) , if the drama already has a pop up window. That indicates the drama will be aired soon but the early spring still don't have a pop up window on chinese version of youku.

Also It's been a week or last week the early spring in on #1 on coming soon section on chinese version..
