Iām currently reading a book called Out of the Dark by Sharon Sala, which tells the story of a girl who has a traumatic experience with pedos, then I remembered this drama I watched years ago. I was fond of this dramaās cinematography and acting. Theyāre actually good, except theyāre telling a story of a 30+ year old woman who prefers this 15 year old boy. Just thinking about it makes me sick. And thatās not all. Sheās not just a pedo, but a cheater too!
The actual problem from the very first was that sheās not really good at putting her feelings into words, directly to her boyfriend, leading her into an inner breakdown. Because what? Because sheās afraid that sheās going to lose the normal thing people always tend to do. The normal happy life, marriage, having kids, that kind of settlement. Not to mention her bfās attitude.
So now she found a sweet attractive guy. The problem is that heās just 15! Oh, heās a minor. We know that boys and girls had that stage where they romanticized about older people, usually towards celebrities, right? At least mostly. But this woman didnāt see that. Then come to that scene where their favorite director was having an issue about pedophilia. The boy basically asked āWhatās wrong with loving the person you love? Age is not a problemā¦blah blahā Then it totally gagged me when she just brushed it off. How come an adult canāt explain that it IS a sin and really immoral thing to do? She can't say āBecause you guys are not quite developed yet.ā Why?? š
Welp, her curly ex bf answered it when he offered her marriage. He literally said that sheās doing what sheās doing because itās fun. She canāt deny that sheās basically having pleasure dating a boy. I conclude that sheās just a straight plain PEDOPHILE and a groomer! It infuriates me.
I take this drama as not something that romanticizes pedophilia, but rather a drama that tells us a story of a socially, morally, mentally, and ethically exhausted full-grown woman and her normally immature minor boy. Thanks to the creators tho. Itās beautifully executed, enough to remember and make me feel sick.
Takaaki plays the role of a servant who listens to his master at all times. It seems like heās a total puppet at the surface, but that was just a play to manipulate Naoya, make him believe that he has no one on his side but him, to make him addicted to his service, or make Naoya look for his magic touch.
It sounds villainous or selfish but that was all to keep him by his side and help him whenever he could. Naoya changes his mood quite often and Takaaki knows it. He knows how vulnerable Naoya is, thatās why theyāre a perfect match, like they basically need each other. It's a weird set-up turned beautiful. And their gazes? Ughh that's everything!
Actually, when Takaaki licked Naoyaās foot, I was like, āEww, are you dumb?ā but as the story progresses, I can now see it. Then it occurred to me how a person can be a manipulator, but gentle and kind at the same time. That's Takaaki! I also get the feeling that the dynamic is kinda similar to My Beautiful Man, but what I like here is that Takaaki really knows what he was doing. Heās calm and CONSISTENT. I really like him š
Now, weāll just see how they overcome the evil father. That father really did a great job pissing me off, btw.
ep.2 was so fast! What was that? I feel like there are gaps in the scenes here, somethingās missing, idk, it's soooo messy šthey need to chill. But then, episodes is like 15 minutes or less, which is sad. Since they gave us a cute outro (their chemistry skyrocketed there, like š) Iāll let it slide š
I've been in a bit of a slump with dramas lately, then this one caught my interest since Sakai Sho is the main here. I donāt really like his acting since the previous one, but Iām curious and I wanted to see his improvements, then poof, still the same. I donāt know about the manga, but bro! This is just ridiculous šI was so confused like wth is going on?! WTF? I agree to the other comment saying, dry humping is better than this š¤£I have a lot more to say but I think itās still too early for that. I want it to improve along the way just like āUnexpectedly Naughty Fukamiā coz bruh the hot scenes are such a waste if they jus play with the story line or plot with something like that
He won't heal until he accepts the fact that he is wounded. Can you imagine Itsuki doing that? Can you imagine him…
At first, I thought that maybe heāll end up just like that. Ending it all. But I still hope that his decision to agree to the interview at last will open a new opportunity for him to grab the hands of whoever wants to help.
You said, he seems unaware of how messed up he is, which I agree with. I also know he wonāt ask for help himself, but on the other side, people will still understand him. They are aware. We are aware.
I hope that after releasing the interview, heāll realize that he doesnāt have to ask for help himself if he feels like he doesnāt need it, because there are peopleāprofessional or non-professionalāwho are willing to help without him asking. I know it is possible. He just needs to try just like how he tried to have a serious relationship with a person who cried for him.
Iāll just hold on to this kind of possbility, because knowing that there are existing Itsukis in this cruel world, makes my heart ache.
āTwo people like us could never make it work, Becausethe things I want to throw away,he wants to carry.ā
I love this series. Itās really short but itās surprisingly enough to make an impact. I just hope Itsuki heals from any hidden pain and finds his own way to happiness
