Does Choi Heejin have a likeable character here? I won’t lie, I’m biased toward her. I’m actually hoping she’s playing an irritating character, because otherwise I’ll end up shipping her with the male lead. I just recently had a second lead syndrome

If the main love story had been between Hiro and Muhee, it would’ve been so much better and could actually be called a romcom. They had a full enemies to lovers setup and with Doremi in the mix, the story would’ve been fire.
I don’t think I’ve seen a story where two actors fall in love. It would’ve been quite unique with one Japanese and one Korean character who don’t even share a language.
The male lead is just too boring for me. Doremi is dynamic and Hiro would totally match her freak.

All the edits of this drama are reminding me of Sunjae. Now that I think about it, there are actually very few Kdramas where the male lead falls first and actually puts effort into pursuing the female lead. Seeing that the ratings are good too, I’m starting this drama with high expectations.

Adding the ex is honestly ruining the drama a bit for me. He’s the kind of character who should’ve only appeared in the first couple of episodes for character development. They could’ve easily cut him out and added more cute, funny moments between both lead couples instead, it is a romcom after all. Also, his hair color… feels like something that was trending a decade ago.

Haven’t watched it yet but seeing people mention childhood connection and parental involvement. I just hope it doesn’t end up like LND.

It's better as normal couple

People are really sleeping on this one. It’s one of the best romcoms ever, perfectly balanced in both comedy and romance. There are so many couples and unlike most dramas where the leads playing actors or public figures break up over some scandal, this one never went down that route

After first few episodes, I honestly thought it was going to be one of my favorites but it fell off sooner than I expected. Still, I rated it decently because of the kissing scenes 😭 they were surprisingly good. Most Kdrama kisses usually feel lacking, so I’d say this one was worth it just for those scenes

It was funny, which is exactly what I wanted but I actually ended up liking the second couple more. Even though the main couple didn’t look awkward on screen, I still prefer actors with a smaller age gap.

Also, does the writer think we’re 10 year old Kpop fans? Their idea of a “smart and modern” female lead seems to just be someone who curses and constantly says the word sex. Like, she was literally insulting her exboyfriend in public for being bad in bed. Even though I liked the drama overall, I really didn’t like the FL’s character

Ok, so I definitely hated the part where Bae Nara’s character asked the doctor to cover up. Like, she was literally saving a life ffs. In a perfect fictional world, he should’ve taught those guys a lesson, because obviously the problem lies within them. But if we think realistically say he didn’t want to seem heroic or cause a scene,he could’ve just given her his jacket or covered the camera. But no, instead, he decided to say cover up
This really gave me the ick and honestly, I don’t know if I can root for them anymore

I’m surprised Kim Hyun Jin didn’t make it. He’s only in a supporting role here, not even the second lead. After Cheer Up, I genuinely thought he’d start getting main lead roles
