i want to boldly say this but some people will attack me and I’m going to mute this later but personally i think, she already reached stability in life, emotionally too. thus her vision in finding partner already solid, she’s clear in what she’s looking for. while he’s not. he’s far from that. he’s not ready to settle down anytime soon. and that’s totally okay too. he’s still in his late 20s, men usually reached wisdom and maturity when they’re in 30s. he still working on his courage afterall he acknowledged his insecurities too. the attractions are obviously there, but one-sided efforts won’t worked in relationship. if he thinks similarities is much more important, boy, you haven’t experienced much in life yet. no one is compatible to begin with, to make a relationship between two strangers worked, to grow together, you need to adjust to other person, doing it together. if you solely rely on similarities, what if one day a person changed? do you just ditch them as they no longer what you expect? either way, he choose someone young, who still have a long long long way ahead. i watched dating shows for years now, and i don’t want to say it but we all know how it usually happened in next few years.
