Seen some comments talking about the ML being manipulative and the female is a victim this and that but I'll ask you a question have you ever been in a project or worked with a smart person (being smart yourself) it makes everything easier you don't need to talk for them to understand and that's how they both feel they understand each other and complemt each other if the ML was the I live my life by righteousness person by now the FL would have been in a suffering cage called marriage and if the FL was the weak type of person who would the already dying ML have to lean on after a life of loneliness so I think they pretty much comprehend each other except one is daring enough and is already seen as a demon so he doesn't care and the other wants to live up to the expectations of a ghost that actually went against the rules of the world in her day
