Most feedback are good if you scroll down. Personally I can't wait for the next episode, but it's a question of taste. I don't like when dramas make me guess about the obvious, here at least you don't have that.

She was probably from a noble family... Maybe they got married before the Gyesa year incidents, so he wasn't the crown prince yet. We only know so much about the chronology right now. The Left minister killed the queen and framed the crown princess because he wanted him to marry his daughter. The dowager normally approves the consorts of the princes and then the king ratifies. But if he wasn't crown prince yet, the selection wouldn't have been that strict, her being noble from a good family would have been enough.

Well I guess you indeed don't look further than the regular tropes, which is okay I suppose, and indeed this series is not for you. I'm quite intrigued that for once a show is breaking free from the usual intrigues we see over and other again. Here we know everything that usually takes 6 to 10 episodes to be revealed while the viewers understood that from the start or almost. I don't know how much of the teasers you watched, but some give you an idea of what is to come. I doubt the soul swap is the point of the story, it's more a change of perspective and probably plan for the Crown prince as he got ready for a very specific plan that derails with that event.

Well the crown prince asked Dal I if she had parents again which implies that the Crown princess' parents were dead when they were married. In episode 1 when the king talked to his son and told him he had asked the crown princess to kill herself to save him, he also said that Lee Kang survived on the blood of the Queen, the crown princess and his father-in-law... So obviously something happened to him also maybe more recently than to the mother-in-law. So yeah, she had no parents left and maybe no other family

Yeah they will. We already saw it in the teasers and both actors talked about it. We'll see how it'll play out and how long it'll last.

Both cousins will fight the Left minister, they have agreed so much already. After who will end on the throne at the end? Hard to say, I can imagine both... But ultimately the next generation shouldn't be of the bloodline of the traitor, so Lee Gang should stay crown prince as Lee Woon will likely end up marrying Kim's daughter. Let's see how this will play out. The images for next week are concerning, but they might not be real it's a bit early for such a confrontation, I'd imagine it'd happen after the soul swap.

Sorry Lee Gang and Lee Woon are cousins. When Dal I understood that Lee Woon was a prince she couldn't understand how Lee Gang was an inspector, because royals don't have jobs so to say. So Lee Woon said they were cousins on his mother's side, so not to tell her that Lee Gang was the Crown prince

He's not a maternal cousin they have the same name (Yi or Lee). He just said that because Dal I couldn't understand why the cousin of a prince could be an inspector... Because duh, obviously royals are not allowed such menial jobs. He hardly could tell her he was the Crown prince.

It's a fantasy, romcom sageuk... It's not based on actual Korean history. Yeah I know how the power struggles worked in Joseon. But that is NOT a historical drama à la The Queen's Umbrella.

Exactly usually it takes 2-3 episodes in a 12 series I also appreciated we learn so much in the first episode. They left enough shadows in some parts for it to be intriguing.
