WHEW well i'm having a fun time

the acting.... the chemistry... episode 26... wheww loving this cdrama

i have so much to say i dont know where to start. i think this is the first cdrama i've watched that has checked off everything i look for in a comforting romantic show. i was pessimistic that with 33 episodes it could fit the bill so well, but by golly they did it. i'd probably say it's more like a slice of life- there's no evil villain, there's no major conflict, the leads have good airtime together and it doesnt feel like any scene of theirs gets cut short. the chemistry and intimacy as the show goes on is so good and i don't think there was an episode where i didnt catch myself smiling or feeling giddy (especially those last few episodesssss). suspending all disbelief that a man like this actually exists, mo qingcheng is quite literally perfect. i love how you can see the both the ML and FL gradually become more comfortable and in love with eachother over time. i skipped over the recipe parts in the beginning (which isnt a big deal to me bc they didnt last long anyway), but with the last few episodes i at least understand why they were a common topic at the start. if you're looking for action or "drama" drama, this show would most likely seem boring and drag. however, for what i've been searching for, it's genuinely a 10/10. ALSO, tan jian ci has such an incredible voice

how long must i beg for those deleted scenes....

now this is a good comfort drama. really loved watching :)

can anyone spoil what happens with the breakup? do they get back in the same episode? or were the previews from the previous episode a fakeout? if they're still broken up at the end of this episode, I would rather wait T_T

agreed those previews get me. I had to watch that scene multiple times, I think thats ji hyeok and ha yeong 😭 bc you see her in that same outfit in another scene in the end preview, and that looks like ji hyeok's hair and outfit. my theory was da rim was watching so ji hyeok grabbed ha yeong, but obviously I could be totally wrong and I hope that I am lol

i was really hoping he would redeem himself but even in the preview for next episode it doesn't seem like hes acting any different:( atp i wonder if they're even going to turn it around so he has feelings for SFL, bc it just doesn't seem like he cares for her at all. the only glimpse imo was when he was watching her and his kid together, but it was such a short moment and he still continued to be possessive of FL after. I want to like him I really do 😭
