The Blossom-I haven’t seen this drama yet, but I’ve heard it involves rebirth, with the female lead stronger than ever as a businesswoman, while the male lead pursues her. Either way, the cinematography, the theme of intertwined souls, and even the male lead’s grey hair aesthetic make it worth watching.

The female lead is very self-oriented—her priorities are her sisters and her business, not love. Gu Xue Jiao's brother is such a hopeless case… I don’t think the creators even know how his character works. There are so many loopholes in his writing. If he keeps saying again and again that Gaokao isn’t his thing and he’s not made for academics, then why is he wasting his time so much? Even while repeating years, he should’ve spent more time on his actual interests building up skills, and also studying as much as he can instead of lurking around.

And love-brained? This guy is blind. His pairing with Zhou Shi Yun felt so forced. In real life, this is not how you fall for a person. Shi Yun literally bullied his sister, yet he fell head over heels for her? Even while she was partying and everything, I just don’t understand what he sees in her.

On top of that, he’s such a pushover. When Shi Yun clearly isn’t interested, he still insists and forces himself on her. Anyone with a good brain—even if Shi Yun was the so-called love of his life—anyone would draw the line if they found out she purposely sent his sister into the forest, putting her life in danger. A normal person would prioritize their sibling over some crush. But this guy? He ran after Shi Yun instead of caring for his own sister.

In the first episode she (fl)mentioned he’s barely 20…and he doesn’t have a diploma and he said something along the lines of integrated phD program… so I assume they don’t have much age gap
