Eunjung was such a GOOD person that i just couldn't relate to her. After seeing her reaction to sang yeon destroying her love life ..i just stopped caring about her pain for the rest of the series. Maybe she liked the misery the betrayal and drama so she kept going back to sang yeon. If it was me I'd quit my job leave town maybe even flee the country to avoid that psycho. It just makes no sense for eunjung to keep being a saint. And the funniest thing.. ' who will accept you at the end' ..i swear the moment that idiot said that line with so much swag i immediately thought.. YOU. I genuinely don't like how dramas like these glorify toxic people and evil actions. If you are gonna be like eunjung then you deserve to get screwed over

Good except.. don't kill me for this but it dragged on for too long. I didn't like the plot of fl getting amnesia and thinking the villain was her father though I'm really glad that ended soon. I loved the rebirth plot of ML as a young emperor wish they had spent more episodes on that instead of the amnesia thing. I loved the couple and their chemisty though. All the characters were fun to watch.

I LOVED the lawyers in this drama. I always feel sick watching self-righteous lawyers defending monsters and sadly claiming it's the law what can we do about it? This ML literally runs on the principal of handling things outside of the ring. What he did to the man who abused his daughter made me fall so hard for him. The case of that p*do..wow. every episode was a breath of fresh air. The ending between the leads might have disappointed most people but realistically it had to be that way. She's working under him so there's a power imbalance that could make their relationship feel off but in the near future they could find their way to each other because they're the perfect match. I so badly want there to be more seasons of this show.. please let there be more!!

She didn't know that. And the problem is he's a human he thought she's one too obviously. She knows she's half demon..it doesn't make sense for her character to completely ignore that fact. That should have been a big problem for her to get over in her heart. I said her character lacks depth because of thingslike this. Look maybe I'm really expecting too much from cdrama characters but we do have amazing FLs in dramas like blossom the double kunning palace princess royal. Why can't that be more of the norm? There are many dumb male characters in dramas but it's rare for ML to be dumb without that being a big part of the plot. I don't like how dumb FL is cute in general opinion. Maybe that makes me one of those radical feminists but noway I'm the only one with the same complaint.

Everything you said are things you understood but weren't shown in the drama. She was stalking him from the first time she saw him. There was no time to get to know his stellar character. When finally their marriage was decided i thought fl would decline because she's gonna live for centuries while he gets old and dies..she wasn't gonna have kids with him. Where was that conversation? This drama would have worked as a pure comedy where everything was for sh*t and giggles but that's not the genre. FL was stupid. Idk what else to tell you. Serpent lord was an extra therefore she had little impact on the story but even in that lil scope you can see more substance in that character. As for the cute dumdum that was serpent's man..yes his character is clearly just that..comic and cute. That's why he's not disappointing. ML has more depth because of his parents death and his revenge agenda but other than that nothing charismatic about how he went about the whole drama. He tried to not cross any lines but couldn't keep pushing a beautiful princess away after the 100th time. I don't understand how you could have found that interesting to watch. I don't wanna keep rambling but I'm not hating on this drama.. I'm disappointed. You liked it. Good. Not trying to change minds. Just expressed my opinion so that the few people who felt the same way can feel less alone.

Only the FL in this drama was dumb. The plural form was meant for most chinese dramas. Serpent was more like the fl than the actual one. FL isn't less powerful. She's got magical power but no brain power. No leadership qualities. Schemes unfolding all around her and she doesn't even suspect a thing. ML is going around slaying demons with her in the next room but she doesn't even suspect a thing. Not once do we see her being cautious because this guy who's obsessed with rules and propriety might have a negative reaction to finding out she's a half demon. No depth to their relationship. He's hot so she loves him and he loves her because she loves him so much. Even when there's conflict and she's pretending to be cold to get rid of him.. her eyes are full of tears. I could describe scene to scene of all the missed opportunities and absolute waste of potential this was. Because once again.. two great actors but absolutely trash characters. And all of that is my personal opinion. I can see that the majority loved this drama.

I love the actors that's probably why I'm so disappointed by the drama. The characters didn't have much depth. FL was supposed to be badass but even the serpent lord outshined her. I know lots of people enjoyed this drama but I don't understand why most of the female characters have to be cute quirky and dumb. It's hard to root for or get Invested in characters like that. I had high hopes for this one simply because of the casting maybe that's why i feel so let down.
