Some of these girls really need to stop with their weird BL fantasies whenever two male leads share a deep bond...…
Who's the dumb one here ? If you're replying about main comment, respond to the main comment not to me lmao. I said what i said nothing else, plus the main comment never complained about the romance either, seems like u really can’t do basic reading. And yeah i stand on that, IT IS weird shipping straight actor portraying straight characters because of some kind of obsession... it literally is fetishism, call me homophobic if it please you, it’s still weird and disrespectful behavior towards those people.

Where the heck i'm complaining about the romance ??? I'm complaining about the girls can't helping themself to ship two guys as soon as they're close just to satisfy some misplaced BL fantasy, can't you just read and do basic thinking ? And yeah doing that is weird ?

The keyword for me is "frustrating". It had a lot of great ideas, the pitch is good, the final plot twist works well, the chemistry between the two leads is decent, the cinematography is lovely, and we got some emotional moments along with nice action scenes. But it dragged on way too much... nothing happened for a huge chunk of the drama. As I feared, the romcom aspect really ruined the intensity the show managed to build up in those rare moments.

It's such a waste. Honestly... turning a story with so much potential into a romcom makes no sense to me. Not everything with romance needs to turn into a romcom, K-dramas from recent years really struggle with this, i remember how well early 2020s ones handled those type of show.

With all due respect.. you MISSED the key plot of this dramaFL and ML fell in love , she was a good girl and demanded…
Are you really basing your opinion on this topic solely on the description and tags, rather than what actually happens in the show between the characters? By that logic, Alice in Borderland shouldn't have had any romance either, nor should Bloody Heart, or Vincenzo.

Tags and descriptions don't always tell the whole story when it comes to subtext, character development, or the chemistry that builds on screen. A romance can develop organically, even in a show that isn't marketed as one. And here, it obviously should've been the case.

A huge waste. I was enjoying the K-drama despite a few slow moments, but by the final episodes, they pulled every predictable plot twist in the book. There were no real surprises regarding the why and how, or the antagonist's identity.

Really great drama even if the last 2 or 3 episodes were a bit of a step down, the first ones were top-tier. Overall, I enjoyed everything, the world is captivating and has plenty of room to be expanded if we get a second season. The acting was spot on, and the sound design and soundtrack were perfectly fitted to the show. But what surprised me the most was the cinematography right from episode one. The color palette, camera angles, lighting choices, it was an absolute treat to watch.

That said, I was a bit disappointed that the ending boiled down to a big boss fight (which wasn't always shot super well), instead of keeping that great mix of action / horror, and a more cerebral approach to problem solving like in the beginning.

Must say i don't really understand the harsh criticizm on the depth of the character, they're not as badly written as some claim... espacially when when compared to most of the recent K-dramas.

I’m sincerely concerned, why are people bashing the entire drama? Hello? The only bad side of this drama is…
Same people that gonna give 10/10 to plain romcom full of cliché

Beautiful writing completely ruined by a terrible pace. I really liked the characters and their dynamic, and the show has a great aesthetic, but for me, the pacing made it painful to watch—I wanted to drop it almost every single episode.

I can't bring myself to give it less than a 7/10 because of its obvious qualities, but it's a K-Drama I will absolutely never rewatch. To be honest i was just glad to finally finish it, it took me almost a month to get through it.

Rewatched it for the first time 10 years later, and I couldn't remember a single thing. I have to say, it’s one of those K-dramas that has actually aged quite well. The first half is incredible—you get completely invested emotionally in the revenge plot, and the tension is palpable. However, in the second half, once the revenge and secret identity tropes fall apart, things become a lot less thrilling. The show gets pretty watered down, falling back into the usual clichés of that era's dramas, which is a real shame. Excellent first half, but a rather boring second half.

I know, there isn’t any romance, but do the female lead and the male lead have a good chemistry? I mean, do…

I’m at episode 6 and I must say I'm struggling with this one. Even though I like the humor, I feel like the show doesn't really know where it’s going. Too many random things are happening. The first two episodes were really good, but since then, it’s been a bit too chaotic (not sure if that's the word I was looking for).

Nah, I actually like using my brain, you should try it sometime instead of whining to people who make valid criticisms about a show.

And who said braindead writing is the new standard of quality? Lady RoseButterfly? You're not winning this argument, just drop it. You have nothing relevant to say.

Well, it’s nothing to write home about. The kind of drama where everything is picture-perfect—everyone is rich, gorgeous, and powerful, surrounded by beautiful golden palaces with royal political intrigue... I got tired of it real quick. It's impossible to connect with characters like that. On top of that, I found the chemistry between the leads pretty average despite the excellent cast. I fell for the hype, but at the end of the day, it's just your typical, flat rom-com that leans way too hard into female fantasy.
