Did the makers of the show notice how everyone was hating SL so much that they ERASED him from the next episodes?…

From the level, I react to his character, I would say, he does a great job at being a villain in disguise of a…
I see where you’re coming from, but I actually don’t fully agree. I think SL’s character still feels a bit too one-dimensional for me to really view him as a villain in disguise. There are definitely moments where his actions hint at something more calculating or darker, and I can see why people might read that as ambiguity, but overall, I feel like the performance leans more heavily on charm, innocence, and naivety rather than the layered unpredictability that makes someone truly compelling as a hidden villain.

With MQB, there was this constant tension you were never really sure what his next move would be, and even when he seemed to be doing something good you were left questioning his true motives. That kind of complexity just isn’t as strong with SL yet. For me his character is still in the early stages of development, and while the actor is doing a solid job with what’s given, it hasn’t fully translated into that sense of real danger or hidden cunning.

I get that others might see him differently, and I respect that perspective, but personally I’m still waiting for those moments that make him truly ambiguous or unpredictable. Right now I’d say he’s more charming than threatening and the villain in disguise aspect hasn’t fully landed for me.

I’m not convinced that villains with a baby-faced appearance are more interesting. Often this innocent on the outside, evil on the inside idea feels forced or gimmicky. Without flawless execution, it just comes across as unbelievable.

Even a talented actor can struggle to pull off that delicate balance. If the mix of purity and malice isn’t convincing, the character ends up feeling flat or silly rather than truly dangerous.

Absolutely Killing off the two great villains so early really undercut the tension and stakes of the story. And his dad… yeah he doesn’t come across as a villain at all he just feels like a king doing his kingly thing. Because he only shows up in a few episodes it’s hard to form any real attachment or see him as a serious threat. And that kid… completely miscast. It throws off the whole dynamic of the show. Introducing some obsessed evil lunatic at the very end feels totally unnecessary there were already plenty of conflicts and fish to fry so to speak. It ends up being more of a distraction than an impactful finale

I completely agree with you. He just doesn’t fit the villain role at all it feels so out of place. He was perfect as her best friend that role suited his personality and acting style so much better. Now he just comes off as awkward and forced especially with the whole obsessed creep angle. It doesn’t feel natural for him and it kind of ruins the vibe of the story. Honestly the casting director really dropped the ball on this one they should’ve stuck with what actually worked, exempel mu qibai or the fox guy they were better as villian

Exactly It’s refreshing to see someone who actually gets it. People are so quick to label MK without understanding the emotional mess she’s in. She’s not being dramatic she’s being human. And honestly, the double standards this season are crazy. The girls are showing vulnerability and effort while the guys just sit back and wait It’s frustrating to watch.
