For a shelved drama it received an insane amount of hate and attention actually. i don't know what Song weilong did to them,they could actually avoid watching his dramas if they don't want to but why do they always force themselves to watch him? and not just that they also try to get people to jump on the hate train and hate on him too. and most of them don't even like JJY so their hate for this drama is so unjustified.

yes right from the day he debuted,hes known to be insanely good looking but alot of people are hating on this drama on tiktok. they don't want people to give his dramas a chance at all. i saw comments like "oh i don't like his acting" "i don't like him" like what does that have to do with the drama tho? honestly the hate really got to me i won't lie. Once Love for you is done airing I'll avoid cdramaland for a while. i need time to clear up my head and this industry will never be the same to me anymore.

and yes hes no longer inder that insane pressure since he left his agency. i think people also hate him for fighting his way through. throughout this drama,ive seen more hate towards him than the drama itself. they don't hate the drama,they just hate the actor.

you are right and i agree with all you said and i wish more people knew this about him unfortunately. cdramaland always are sympathetic towards actors who go through stuff in their career but they do not have that level of sympathy towards weilong,maybe its his destiny,everyone is different but also his hiatus as i heard wasn't exactly self imposed,his rights to use his real name was blocked by weibo so its safe to say he suffered beyound just agency disputes but thats ok. i don't like talking about his past experiences or else I'll break down and cry bitterly. I'll just enjoy the drama ad support him.

you are right. but tbh nothing much has changed,people are still repeating the rumours and stereotypes that yu zheng spread to destroy him and cdrama fans are bullying him on tiktok For TEF cause of those hate speeches from yu zheng in the past.

Lol they are. half of the people hating on this genre all hyped xianxia dramas in 2025 and 2024. they are just being weird to this drama because they are aware it was meant to release two years ago. the plot,CGI and acting is so good for a drama shot in 2024,you can call their discrimination ;Recency bias.

i still believe that this drama got so much unnecessary hate for a drama that was shelved. i don't think other shelved dramas got so much backlash like TEF,or maybe because Weilong is the most internationally popular cdrama actor amongst those dramas i guess? lol
