I hope this helps you decide on whether to watch it or not: The participants are not terminally ill. They all had cancer at one point with some already ended treatment two/three years ago while others are still undergoing treatment for after effects of the treatment they got. Of course some of them had severe cancer types, symptoms and reactions but none of them is terminally ill.
This is quite a heavy show🥺. It’s touching how to some extent it feels like a support group session as they are all able to share their stories which some of them never really did during their recovery journey, to this extent. In many cases when people get sick there’s a certain level of how much they can share or express to the closest people around them as they also feel overwhelmed about the whole situation. Well before all the romance shenanigans began, getting to share a painful and heartbreaking part of their lives with a group of people who could actually relate to most of what they felt must have brought back memories from each one’s journey which l hope brought healing to them, at least, to some extent.
I don’t mind having a such a show as everyone deserves to be loved and to find love. No matter what we face at any point in our lives, life still goes on. Considering how all the participants consented to take part in the show, it also shows that they are ready to explore this concept and probably open a new page in their lives which might have just been circling around their recovery.
I do hope that this show will portray the element of finding love in a great way without ulterior motives of using these participants. Knowing how most Kdating shows are scripted and edited in ways to attract viewers, l hope this show will do better🫠
Esther playing Lin Wanxing really hits close to home as she was once a huge victim of cyber bullying and so many parts of her life were affected by false rumours. I really hope that as she looks back at the time she played this role it will remind her of all it’s healing components!🥹❤️

Yes she is generally a green flag towards him were sincere. I do have to highlight that though she had stuff she couldn’t open up to him about because they had a long standing psychological impact on her, she was transparent to him about that.
