Yeah, it's funny that short dramas can afford to use prosthetics and special effects, yet this S+ drama doesn't want to do the same. Instead, they're choosing to cast substitute actresses, they're just using Kiku to promote a bunch of other actresses rather than letting her fully portray the character herself

WXY needs to come forward and address this mess. I’m saying, why did she agree to equal billing? This has nothing to do with VOS. If she gets a good script with a well-written character, her acting will be recognized regardless of GJM’s involvement. That’s the real point. The key factor has always been the script quality, not the billing order.
So I don’t buy the idea that she agreed to equal billing because her contract was at risk or that it somehow affects how her acting is perceived. Billing is more about marketing strategy or balancing fanbases, not a measure of ability. She’s already proven she can carry projects as the first-billed lead. I don’t think so. Even without VOS, Yuzheng of Huanyu had already mentioned that he wanted her as the female lead for his dramas, but she was already booked. Stellar also contacted her even before she started filming VOS. So it's not VOS that boosted her.
