Wish this drama is more than 12 episodes. It's masterpiece

Liked the first five episodes, but after that it started to get boring. Nothing new about plot and main leads dynamic it very predictable. However, the acting was solid and NC scenes were done well.

He is actually nice person just very protective towards zhang zhun in novel

More people need to watch this drama on Viki since it's the official platform streaming it. Watching it there helps support the drama and everyone who worked on it. But i wish Viki would improve the subtitles and stop automatically skipping to the next episode before the ending credit scenes.

I think it's because the production company is based in China unlike other Chinese bls. Since YouTube is restricted there they obviously can't monitor it all the time. director did ask fans to make more videos about the drama but didn't mean uploading full episodes. Still the drama is doing great despite having almost no official promotions or official behind the scenes content

I'm watching it on viki and always recommend ppl to watch on official sites when it's airing. I think they don't have YouTube account to post officially and not really checking on that app

This drama is so good every episode making me go crazy. until yesterday ep 7 was my most favorite now it's ep 8, only drama with no boring episodes

I think you skipped the movie scenes from the beginning and only watched the backstage scenes probably why it feels boring to you. The movie scenes are important because they linked into the main story. The episodes also address sexual assault and what male victims go through in a dignified and respectful manner which very few BLs do.

I think they dedicated this entire episode to the movie plot so they can focus the remaining episodes on their real life story. but still 12 episodes are too short

Yes, 12 episodes are too short since they're covering two stories. Based on the novel, their real-life story alone needs a lot of episodes to do it justice. I wish they had made it two seasons instead or reduce the screen time of movie they are filming ( dramas no need to always 100% accurate with novel in my opinion). Anyways based on episode 7 spoiler we get to see more of their real life story

You guys end to understand that drama plot they are filming is equally important because it's not fake and that is the plot twist

This is one of the few dramas that actually deserved more than 20 episodes especially since it's telling two stories. I just hope they don't rush the ending or give us another season

12 episodes are too short to cover both stories. It should have been at least 16–20 episodes.
