speaking about his relationship with taepyung, i think it's comical how they've been friends for so long and he never cared enough to visit him until his sister needed help.
jangmi needs his help to solve this mystery, and he can't even argue with his own mother without bursting into tears. how are you gonna protect and help the Woman You Love like that?! at this point i'm just bullying him for being a very sensitive man, but like! we have way more to worry about, let's think about dating when the woman you love (!) is safe and sound, free from any danger.
Baek Ho should get used to wearing that sad and depressed look for while because Jang Mi will be walking straight…

I am going to chime in on plot holes! It's so ridiculous that the police checked for JMi's dad phone record and…
i believe seorin ate half of jangmi's brain when they were inside sukhee's belly. the discrepancy in how their minds work is incredible. seorin has an excellent memory, while jangmi can't even remember things that happened right in front of her.
aside from all the plot holes regarding the police investigation... i'm surprised that seorin is so good at putting the pieces of the puzzle together !$!_? in just two days, she managed to investigate the story of the wrench, made the connection between bokgil's accident and junho's family, placed her mother at the crime scene, and even has a clue as to where they might have hidden the weapon. not to mention that she did the most important thing, which was to see jangmi.
her detective skills need to last a little longer and she needs to be more careful, because, as the saying goes... curiosity killed the cat. i'm so excited for next week!
It only took 38 episodes, but finally, the writers gave us an episode that was good from beginning to the end.…
I think if Seorin establishes herself, she'll be the best option to lead the Dream Group. Junho is a chef and seems to love what he does, not to mention he's not part of the Ma bloodline. Jangmi won't (and shouldn't) give up on her dream of becoming a chef, enough of sacrificing herself for the greater good. If they don't decide to get rid of Seorin to facilitate the development of certain narrative points, the least they can do is give the character another chance. If she matures a little, she'll be perfect to take on a leadership role; she has all the ingredients, she just lacks determination.
Baekho and Seorin have something in common: an inability to read and interpret social cues. I always expected the worst from Seorin because she's a lonely character who grew up having everything she ever wanted, a spoiled heiress who probably never heard "no" in her life. What she feels for Junho is a thirst for possession, she wants to conquer him, which is very much in line with her personality. But what about Baekho? I swear I don't understand where his attitude comes from. Is love that blinding?
Sure, the Ohs supported him and treated him like a member of the family during the short time he had to get close to Jangmi, but that's no excuse, right? On the contrary, the way their family welcomed him should've been enough for him to understand that he needs to give them time to process what happened and decide what to do on their own.
In any case, the narrative has already positioned him as the only solution to all the problems; we need to accept that, without him, there will be no progress. He might really be The First Man.
I was annoyed when Tae Pyung called Baek Ho. When he said he can't sit around and do nothing- I thought he was…
you talk about it. maybe it's because i'm fed up with him now, but i still wonder WHY he had to be there when jangmi discovered one of the biggest secrets of her life (that bokgil wasn't her biological father). the way he just stood there, listening to everything like he had any business in doing so, irritates me so much.
how on earth did bokgil manage to survive after taking several blows to the head AND being run over?! so jangmi got her 9 lives from daddy, who apparently has (had) 18.
i have a feeling seorin will realize something is wrong first. when? don't ask me. the mere fact that she's suspicious of why hwayoung is lying about the wrench and has decided to go after the truth is already a huge step forward, and i'll happily take it.
Seo Rin just needs to meet one person in the shop- Suk Hee or Tae Pyung or Tae Sook🙏. And Hwa Yeong is distracted…
considering the difficult situation bokgil is in, the scene of seorin going to the shop will probably be saved for the end of the episode and we all know why.
when i'm in a cliffhanger competition and first man is my opponent:
Something has to happen to prevent him from disclosing what he knows to Jang Mi this early. Kidnapping, accident…
things are getting interesting indeed, now i'm excited. there's 2 major events about to unfold. bokgil left in a hurry without saying where he was going or who he was meeting. if he doesn't come home...
Is it just me or have they been zooming in on how Seorin holds her cutlery. Will that also be a tell when Jangmi…
seorin is, as expected, very enthusiastic about fashion and the way she looks. they also focused on her nails in the last episode, and i had the feeling that it's another small but relevant detail; we've never seen jangmi with long nails because she's always cooking and it's not practical. these are things that seem irrelevant, but when you really know someone, they become easy to notice and you can tell there's something wrong.
the twins have a lot in common, but this time around i hope being slow isn't one of them. seorin is going to have to start suspecting something. being mistaken for someone once is fine, but to be mistaken for the Same Person TWICE!? i'm eager to see how bokgil will react and how he will hypothetically ignore the fact that he saw a woman who looks exactly like his daughter, but who clearly isn't. like... everyone else did already.
Hwa Yeong is planning on hiding she is his mom and marrying the 2, but I don't how that will work when he can't…
could it be? judging by the way kanghyuk treats her, i find it hard to believe he'd leave her alone if he knew she had a baby be it his or not. the one i believe was his is the one she claimed to be dongseok's, unless the story she told about him (dongseok) getting drunk and mistaking her for sukhee was true.
Baek Ho confessed far too quickly and he seems really desperate. I also think he is scared that Jang Mi will fall…
he acted on impulse, a bit childishly, but i can see where he's coming from. even so, he should've known better because when he asked her to be "his woman" he only considered himself and how wonderful it would be to have her all to himself. he's already in love with her, but jangmi's feelings are still superficial and can be easily mistaken for gratitude. if jangmi hadn't rejected him, she'd still need time to fully open her heart and let her guard down. little white tiger should've worked on that first before confessing.
his early confession is clearly to make him a certified yearner. he won't be able to win her over anytime soon because, now that hwayoung has finally discovered who haneul is, i think the twins' first meeting will be the next focus.
i don't understand why little white tiger would rush things, he looks so innocent and yet walks around carrying the greed they talk about in the bible, humph! ㅡㅡ it's written all over jangmi's face the many reasons as to why she doesn't "fall in love". but anyway. i guess the angst is necessary, right?
yeongja, my darling... you have a bigger fish to fry. don't embarrass me like this, jebal...

ack! seorin was doing so well... i genuinely can't predict anything anymore.
