Oh my God, amen, there's going to be a special episode to give us our happy ending! I accept it, I'm ready! (I would have preferred that after the end, it opened with the phrase "it's not over yet" and showed the ending; not everyone watches the special episode, so they get stuck in their heads with the ending of episode 40, but I'm very happy that we're going to have an extra episode to give us our happy ending.)
Look, I haven't actually watched that episode yet, so I can't really comment, but from what you've said here, if Duan Xu dies of old age or illness, I can accept it. But it was a fantasy drama, couldn't they have given it a happy ending? Anyway, I'm not upset with the ending; if it was somewhat open-ended and implied that he'll meet her, that's fine by me.
Damn it after a long time of not watching ongoing c dramas because i hate the open and sad endings i gave in to…
I think you'll only be able to draw your own conclusions by watching it. For me, it's an okay ending. I don't think it's completely open-ended, but I haven't seen that episode yet, so I can't really know. We're just talking here, but I don't have much of an idea about the ending. I haven't watched it yet.
I think this ending is okay because it doesn't displease everyone. Personally, I prefer either sad or happy, but a middle ground generally makes people less sad if it's like this.
But in the novel, isn't there someone who makes her human again and he comes back to life? I swear they didn't mess up that ending. If you didn't watch the whole thing, I'm kind of relieved because it literally could have been a happy ending; they went through so much to be together.
Guys, when you're finished watching or want to rate it honestly, if you want to comment it doesn't need to be anything long, thank you. The drama's journey is almost over 😭 the final episodes come out today.
Wow a reality check . Didn’t think it would b that bad .
I didn't think so either; I thought it would be watched by a lot of people, after all, there was a lot of hype surrounding it, but it seems like people just didn't press play, and even internationally I'm not seeing many people commenting on it. It's strange, this drama had an absurd amount of hype.
Wow, it's really interesting to see Simu, who is very powerful, protecting Duan Xu, who is human. I'm amazed that she does everything she can, even protecting him while he's like this. I really enjoyed episode 34. Our child from the beginning is also happy to see him grown up.
I think one of the biggest missteps was selling this drama as a sequel with a very young, underage protagonist – it's a shame the drama is suffering a lot because of it.
Seriously, episode 34 was amazing! And once again, I'm grateful that we have this adaptation of this drama and that you can get to know Simu and Duan Xu. What can I say about Duan Xu? My favorite character is so incredible! Arthur managed to portray this character perfectly. He's bloodthirsty, self-assured, very courageous, and young, and because he's young, he makes many rash decisions. He's sweet, the way he always waits for Simu and misses her terribly. The love he has for her... I'm so in love with this character! And what about Simu? Dilraba delivered such a perfect performance; the character's traits matched Dilraba's own, and Dilraba portrayed her personality very well. I'm absolutely happy that we can see this story on screen.
