I really love the character development of gong ziyu . He’s really amazing . people with low self esteem would understand him. It’s really really hard to overcome it .

Yes, that’s what I mean. I feel like she’s become more focused on looking pretty on camera, and because of that, her acting doesn’t feel as natural or immersive as it used to. I miss how expressive and uninhibited she was in her earlier roles . Now after the massive cyber bullying she becomes even more focus on her look .

She definitely did a good job, and it’s a valuable role to have in her portfolio. However, I don’t think the performance felt as grounded as it could have been. Lately, it seems like her acting has become more performative than immersive. Instead of completely disappearing into the character, I’m often still aware that I’m watching Esther perform. I miss the natural, lived-in quality she brought to some of her earlier roles, where the character felt authentic rather than consciously acted.

I also hope she gets the chance to star in dramas that truly center on the female lead instead of constantly favoring the male lead. I want to see her in projects where her character is given enough depth, development, and screen time to really shine.

Sometimes it feels like she’s been a bit unlucky. She has the ability to bring attention, popularity, and success to the people she works with, yet it doesn’t always seem like she receives the same level of recognition or good fortune in return. I just hope she finds a project where everything comes together—the script, the production, and the role—so she can fully showcase her talent

I hope she chooses whichever approach best serves the character, but I don’t mind her using professional voice actors. If it helps deliver a stronger performance and reach a wider audience, I think it’s the right choice.

Person Esther Yu
As a fan, I really hope Esther chooses roles that are different from her real-life personality or the image that the general public already has of her. She has such a strong variety-show presence that it can easily carry over into her acting if the role is too similar.

I think this is less of an issue in historical dramas because audiences naturally separate fictional characters from reality. But in modern dramas, which are closer to everyday life, it’s much easier for viewers to notice when an actor’s real personality seems to overlap with the character.

After watching her three modern dramas in a row, I honestly feel that her performances haven’t been as strong as they were before. Sometimes it feels like she’s paying too much attention to looking pretty on camera, and she often adds her own signature facial expressions or an unexpectedly quirky way of delivering certain lines. In some scenes, those choices pull me out of the story because I become more aware of Esther than the character she’s supposed to be playing.

What makes me feel this way is that I know how capable she is. Before these three modern dramas, she brought her characters to life so naturally, and each role felt distinct. That’s why I hope she continues to improve her acting and trusts the script and the director’s vision instead of adding too many personal touches that can become distracting.

I know she’ll continue to get cast and stay busy because she’s a major traffic star, but I genuinely hope she grows into an actress who is recognized not just for her popularity but for consistently strong performances. No matter what, I’ll continue to support her as a person and look forward to seeing her grow with each new role.

Watching this drama makes me miss my youth. Sometimes it feels like my youth wasn’t even my own life . it feels like it belonged to someone else. I still remember those days, but they seem so far away, like they happened to a different person.

Title Road to Success Spoiler
I’m 5 episodes in. FL seems to be so disinterested in the team as a whole. Fu was correct, she didn’t sign…
LWX and Wangfa don’t feel attached to the football team yet. They’re both still focused on their own goals. However, you can slowly see the football boys growing on them.

I understand why they’re acting this way because it’s not really their responsibility to take care of these boys. LWX just wants to do her job well, while Wangfa is only interested in investigating LWX. So when they don’t seem very concerned about the boys’ struggles, some viewers might feel uncomfortable. But honestly, that’s how people are in real life—not everyone cares about other people’s problems.

I actually like how realistic this is. LWX doesn’t care whether the team wins or loses at first; she just wants to complete her assignment. But after seeing the boys’ passion, she starts encouraging them and works hard to find them a coach. Even then, she never forces them to train. She gives them the opportunity, but the decision is still theirs.

To me, LWX is like a healer. She supports people, helps them when they need it, and creates opportunities, but she lets them make their own choices and play their own roles.
