when I first finished this . I always pick a fight with who ever pick jing 🥲👍😭because I was so hurt and I believe xiaoyao and xiangliu love each other but can’t openly admit it . However after years I feel so bad for jing . I just don’t care about him enough when I first watched the drama . I was hype by TikTok and the attractive red flag ml and people bias towards him so when I watched it I already biased towards xiangliu ( I only know yangzi at that time) but now I think jing is the best match since xiangliu never openly fight for xiaoyao love so I think he would win but tbh if both fairly fight for xiaoyao love im not sure if jing will lose . Jing is the end game but his character feel so plain and he always in awkward moments without lines to say . I don’t know but why the screenwriter writing him like that . Jing is so smart he supports cangxuan because he knows cangxuan will win the war but people always focus on romance and not focus enough about how smart this man is . however both jing and xl are so selfless . jing , despite being tortured by his brother that bad he doesn’t have a grudge towards him instead understand his brother this actions lead xiaoyao to admire him so much because she went through the same pain as jing but she doesn’t as soft heart as him to forgive the one who hurt her . He heals her emotional trauma she heals his physical pain both of them are the perfect match .
