Too predictable... if you want to keep it longer, you must add the part where Ian had to marry another lady and Huiju will find ways to stop it... heartache. So lets just drop a few episode to skip to the good part okay.

My dear... dont you think he is acting like Sunjae but only in Prince Ian persona? You can disagree with me but I think this is a stagnant role for him... No growth at all.
Perfect Crown is a GEM.✅ Award winning screenplay✅ Directed by Park Joonhwa, expert in directing good romance…
Sure, Perfect Crown may receive awards, has visuals, famous actors, and chart rankings, but none of that automatically makes it a masterpiece. A drama can be beautifully shot with a great OST and still suffer from weak pacing, repetitive conflicts, and shallow emotional development. Many viewers stayed for the aesthetics rather than the actual storytelling. “Good chemistry” is also subjective because not everyone felt emotionally invested in the leads. Topping charts mainly shows popularity and hype, especially with a star-studded cast, but hype fades quickly if the writing cannot truly leave a lasting impact. Pretty packaging alone cannot carry a drama for everyone.
In my opinion, many people were just drawn in by the star-studded cast, lavish visuals, and the fresh idea of a modern constitutional monarchy, but the execution did not fully live up to the expectations. The drama spends too much time building aesthetics and “royal fantasy” scenes without giving enough meaningful plot progression. Romantic scenes often came across as forced or overly polished instead of sincere and immersive. The writing rely too heavily on familiar K-drama tropes without adding enough originality. Many scenes were similar to a recent popular drama. As a result, the story became predictable despite its high-budget setting. The drama just did not deliver the emotional depth and storytelling as expected from such a highly anticipated series.
such a waste of my time. the story had so much potential if it weren't for the stupid FL. constantly flustered…
The FL making emotional, messy decisions is literally the point of her character. Not every lead has to act like a robot with perfect judgment just because you want a flawless fantasy.
to be honest, the k drama is not that bad, it seems like a k drama you would rewatch skipping to only the good…
Imagine you in front of your idol after knowing he died and now you see him alive and you tried to tell him but the universe didnt allow... all you can do is give hints... you will be able to be normal.
was enjoyable at first but ngl the FL started to annoy me with her stupid decisions afterwards, cant bare her…
Bro, which young girl makes good decision when young... that is why we always get our heart broken. If she annoys you means she delivered her character well... cos that is how high school girls thinks... For a 27 year old lady who has to act like a childish girl is not easy.
I ended up dropping it around episode 10 and skipped straight to the finale just to see how it ended—and even…
I guess you forget what it is like to be young... as an adult we usually go straight to the point. And you fail to understand why they are attracted to her... she came to them when they were feeling at their lowest point. Her intention was to help but instead she became someone they can rely on cos the rest of the girls around them are just childish while Im-sol has a mature thinking.
The storytelling seems to be copied from other past drmas (specially from A time called you). The lead couple…
No it is not a copy. You dont have scenes in LR similar to ATCY unlike a drama I know now. It is relatable because of all the young idols and actors we lost nowadays due to some reason.
Despite high rating , The name of the title didnt really nudge me to watch it and the reason i put on hold till…
To understand this drama, you must be able to go deep into emotional helplessness of losing a person too early’s. Im-sol's determination reflects a universal thought many people carry after loss: “If only I had one more chance.” Her efforts to protect Sun-jae feel sincere and relatable because they come from love, guilt, and hope rather than heroism. It is not a fantasy drama like Perfect Crown where you get fluttering feelings all the time which many girls dream to get or receive from their partners.
Lovely Runner is a standout romantic comedy because it combines heartfelt romance, humour, and emotional depth in a way that feels both comforting and painful. More than just a love story, the drama explores grief, regret, and the human desire to change fate for someone we care about deeply. This central idea connects strongly with people because many have experienced the feeling of wishing they could go back and prevent the loss of someone important. The drama captures the emotional helplessness of losing a person too early — whether through death, illness, or emotional separation. Ultimately, Lovely Runner resonates with many because it reflects a deeply human wish — that love might be powerful enough to save someone we are not ready to lose.
I think calling this a “copy” of Princess Hours is a bit of a stretch. Princess Hours used a very classic…
Many of the situations / scenes are very similar to a particular drama cos if I say the name, you going to say I am a shipper.
1) Fall for her first and falling harder but the encounter didnt stick in her mind. (LR Ep1: Imsol running with yellow umbrella)
2) FL running to Grand Prince, screaming his name and hugging him scene... isnt that one of the main tagline of that particular drama that they whole world knows (LR: Imsol running to Sunjae after his swimming meet when she was glad he was alive)
3) Grand Prince listening to her in the car and turned his head to smile scene (LR: Imsol drunk at swimming pool with Sunjae)
4) The frustrated push jacket to the back motion (LR: Sunjae when he thought Imsol hasa BF)
5) Soft kiss over the palace wall (LR: Kiss under the Sakura petals)
6) Chasing after grand prince without giving up (LR: Imsol not giving up to warn him about the future)
7) Refusing to accept Grand Prince request and him getting frustrated (LR: Imsol not wanting to take Sunjae to act in her drama)
8) The kiss on the boat (LR: Imsol and Sunjae in the room during vacation)
9) Grand Prince with arm sling (LR: Sunjae hurt his arm and had to wear arm sling)
Princess Hours? Isn't it a very old drama 2006? Pardon me, I have not watched that, I guess many haven't. The…
