their acing was bad, the top act like an alien and a robot, and wth is going o with the bottom does oak studio cant find another good actor, the bottom act so stiff, when he angry and then he punch the top at his face he make a straight face, and when he wake up by shocked he make another straight face, its weird watching an emotional scene but the actor made a straight face like a robot

thats not a good job, and 2D character cannot be adapted into live action drama, the result will robotic like a mess

summertime was the worst 2026 korean bl so far

what a trash drama, it started with bad acting and ended with bad ending and bad story line, what a mess, its wasting my time, after the suscces of the prosecutor proposal i thought oak studio would make a good another bl drama, but summertime is a trash

Defending a bad drama and claiming it is good isn't the beauthy of watching BL drama, if many people keep to tolerate this, we will no longer see Korean BLs with good writing and good storylines. Studios will focus only on producing bl drama with great kissing and sex scenes rather than good plots, because they believe that such scenes are enough to satisfy fans regardless of the story and writing quality. in the future, Korean BL could become a jokes.
tbh the only enjoyable thing to watch from summertime are only the kiss and sex scene.

i agree with you, this drama doesn't started well, the story was bad and boring, and now only 2 eps left but i can predict the ending from that poor drama

It’s understandable that so many people complain about the acting, because it really bad, the "bottom" acting feels stiff when the character is angry, while the "top" acting isn't good either. You can't simply bring a 2D character directly into a live-action drama, the result is a robotic and terrible performance. This is clearly the director's fault, yet you defend it just because it mirrors the *manhwa* character it’s weird that you’d stand up for such bad acting. Then you have terrible taste if you think this drama is good simply because of the kissing and sex scenes are good, especially this drama has bad acting, bad storylines, and the fact that the story feels rushed , too fast paced.

wow this drama and the storyline was so good, maybe it will become the next masterpiece, this drama and the lead actor deserve more hype and popularity

i think studio oak is going to set a terrible for BL drama quality standards, because their fans keep praising on kissing and sex scenes and ignoring the actual story. Korean BL could end up becoming trash, focusing only on sex scene and fan service rather than make a good storylines, if fans keep tolerating this korean Bl ended up becoming a joke.

The quality of Korean BL dramas has really dropped lately. I increasingly feel that current bl drama productions aren't serious about make a good storylines, they disregard narrative quality and coherence, focusing on fanservice involving the two leads, and focusing on a good kiss scenes and sex scenes instead make a good storylines. Many viewers also have low standards, praising these poor-quality dramas simply because the kissing scenes are good, even though in the case of *Summertime* the acting is incredibly stiff, the story is bad, and the pacing feels rushed.

totaly agree with you, many people praise this drama and rated this drama high just because the kiss and bathroom scene was good, also the top was handsome. but the story was trash especially the ending.

i love the special episode, its so so so so good

the ending destroy everything, this drama strated with good plot but the ending was trash, many plot holes and non sense aspect, and im sick with the time skip to covered bad writing. have a good kiss scene and good shower scene doesn't mean that this drama is good. many scene used with AI thats kinda anoying, TPP was not masterpiece, i hope oak will make better bl soon
