What I really liked about this one was that the ML adoptive mom wasn't an evil thing out to kill him like so many other rom-coms/dramas! It was sweet, and didn't have a bunch of frustrating stuff. The single plot point that I didn't get was - WHY was he attacked, and why with a knife? That was never really resolved for me.

I agree on the first few episodes - it was like the story was going back and forth and then, somehow, restarted? I didn't get it.

I loved this series... The scene between the original couple was GREAT; I kept thinking "she's coming back to be with him because her husband finally died"... but no. :( AND WTH with that ending? It promised a S2, but maybe covid botched it up? :(
