Other constants wouldn't choose him and have negative thoughts about him because of what he did and that's what he thought himself later on. I genuinely don't know but it would make more sense if there was some kind of classification for their powers like this section has super senses, that section has hypnotizing and so on, then there should be people other than Charlie who had the same power as him and they returned to their owners when the absorbers died so he would know by others' experiences. Idk if this is actually a thing in that world. just my assumption.
