I think I went into KP expecting mafia with a side of romance, but I got romance with a side of mafia. VP scenes saved the show but I didn't really care about them. KP romance scenes were too much for me and with KimChay I was looking forward to them, but they ended up being boring

The reason why Seojoon was able to forgive Jiwoo so easily was because he knew that he's the only one that Jiwoo has actually expressed his feelings too. He's the only one that has seen Jiwoo cry and during the staircase scene, we see Jiwoo expressing his feelings on Seojoon and his coworkers, something he's never done before. He always bottled up his emotions, but in the last ep, we see him asking Seojoon to hug him. I get that it was rushed but I think it makes sense

Jiwoo felt like his life has no meaning. Even though he's with someone who loves him and appreciates him, he doesn't love himself. We see that during their ep 6 argument when he Seojoon was stating Jiwoo's flaws and Seojoon said he loves him despite them but Jiwoo says he doesn't like himself because of those flaws. He saw that he has flaws that he didn't like, and he at the back of his mind, he thought that once Seojoon noticed his flaws, he would leave him. In media, you have people saying their life would be meaningless without a specific person or their one true love in it, but for Jiwoo, he felt like his life was meaningless even WITH that specific person in it. He left because he wanted to find out who he is outside of Seojoon. Seojoon has a lot of people around him, but Jiwoo has noone in his life outside Seojoon, hence him feeling lonely. For the year that they were dating, all he did was wait for Seojoon. That's why he named his restaurant "Ti Aspetto."He wanted to feel like he was worth Seojoon's time. In a way, he put Seojoon on a high pedestal, and in order for them to be in a successful relationship, Jiwoo has to see Seojoon on a same level. They were able to work on their relationship the second time because both Seojoon and Jiwoo were able to find a balance between their romantic relationship and have connections outside of each other. Hopefully that helps! Sorry for the long rant I just love this show so much.
