Yes Boybands and girlbands are a really huge thing in South Korea and the fan culture around it is really something, Their job is referred to as idols and their industry K-pop! it's pretty common for middle school to college students to be into it and they have a very unique operating and marketing, The ethic rules they have to follow, The trainee system(boot camp like preparation before debuting, it can take weeks to years), the lightsticks, the photocards, the physical albums shaped to a concept, membership kits, Aegyos, fansigns, music shows, curated contents that is specific to them etc....
Almost halfway but for some reason i keep stagnating when watching this drama, i've started it 6 years ago when it came out but i can't seem to be fully drawn by it
I agree for Sweet Home but Pyramid Game is a good adaptation tho! at least to me and The WEBTOON to this is really not that great so they can't do worse
