Yes, actually I feel that this whole story might be told in 20-21 episodes total, without fillers. However, the production and sets seems costly, I presume they wanted to have a second season to get more money from Netflix/Third-Party deals.

Exactly, as fans of the series we should hope the best for GYJ so that we can get a fulfilling ending.

I hope we can avoid the amnesia plot in season 2. I would hate seeing Naksu with amnesia having feelings for Seo Yul. 🤮

I think fewer episodes is better in this case. Season 1's weakest part was the filler scenes slowing the pace after episode 9. Season 2 seems to be more focused on a revenge plot, which benefits from moving at a quicker pace.

Wow still procesing that ending. JSM action scenes were badass. Also the preview looks awesome, it seems S2 will have a more serious tone. December can't come soon enough.

Cast and director seem ok, but the plot sounds dumb and undoubtedly will have a love triangle.

There are a lot of mages is Daeho are involved in the AoS plot. Even if JinMu and ShamanChoi are unmasked and flee by the end of this season, they still have a lot of powerful followers... hopefully in Season 2 we will get a lot more actions scenes with our leads fighting against these AoS mages.

That is if we are lucky, this drama is heavy on the post production. 1Q23 migth be more likely. :(

Kinda weak episode. I was expecting a lot more plot development given the trailer they showed us, hope it improves tomorrow. Also I would like to see higher stakes for S2, I dont yet see why we would need season 2 if the current villians are not that strong/world threatening.

I love JSM but I have never seen her doing action, i dont think it is really suitable for her. GYS did quite well as Naksu in episode 1, so it would be nice is we get more action and a better progresion after changing the actress.
