I agree with you. It had its ups and downs but I really like it. The ending made me sad tho. The directors uncut S scenes was WO.ow

The novel is short so I'm quite sure they intended to do just 3 episodes from the start
Maybe they cut it short because they`re going over the basics of novel. Maybe it is just 3 episodes.

I`ve read the novel, its not that short. He tries to heal from the trauma, mentally and physically but Keng keeps coming back through it all begging, black mailing and Shin decides to take him to court when Keng tries to pay off the family to silence. And then the inevitable end.
