They definitely romanticize the rape, making it seem almost normal, even loving. And I understand why since it is a very brutal scene in the novel. But for him to experience no pain afterwards doesn`t make sense.
I`m shipping Jin Xiao Bao/Su Yin so hard rn, even tho I know they aren't the couple of the story I`m still stuck on this line. Su Yin "If you keep opposing me I`ll strip you naked and tie you to the city gate." lmao. Zong Zheng Huai En/Jin Xiao Bao the main are cute too. Ughhhh. I haven`t felt this good about a Chinese series since the Untamed.
This was WILD and I loved every min of it. Very kickass! I had pretty much figured things out by ep 4. So not much of a twist, but still a really good mini-series. And of course, my guys Lee Dong Wook and Park Ji Bin is in it. This was a solid 9 for me. S2 pls!
