But many people are ignoring or not getting the fact that SWM is an experiment. This is the first Danmei literally with Kisses aired 5 or 6 years later of bl ban. The team found a loophole and decided to experiment with how much they can push bl content without offending the authorities. So I understand in a way why they decided to end with an open ending scenarioā¦ because if by chance they canāt make S2 because of any type of intervention from the government.. with an ambiguous ending like this which many fans are taking as bad and sad ending was actually very clever 1) perfect to create anticipation for new season 2) the authorities will not harm the boys and production team as they portrayed this type of relationship will have a bad ending. 3) if they really can't give us s2 they gave us enough hints that Wu bi is alive and together with Su Ya and Dou dou
