I think a part of Suyu knows Wubi is very possessive about him and their relationship is not step sibling or friends like at all. Episode 11 and 12 is a very pivotal turning point for both boys feelings for each other especially for Suyu. He has finally realised his feelings for that snake has shifted to someone else. In Ep 12 the brother said to wubi he will kill anyone who dares to cross path with him or tries to take his stuffs from him or something along those line. Even that’s wubi hid the fact of ye waning trying to double time by pursuing suyu. Yes government can’t stop the show from airing but can cause serious damages to the actors and people involved so the production team is taking as much precaution as possible by not over doing with physical intimacy. My speculation is that youku is testing the success of only airing bls overseas and how much they can push the boundary to produce bls by collaborating with other country’s company which will enable them to completely avoid Chinese nrta.
