Thanks. I'm confused with this political connection. I first thought the real reason why Gu's parents refused the princess for marriage is that it would make GJS a rival/hindrance to crown prince's journey to the throne since Gu are so powerful.

This is such a promising wuxia with good characterization, outstanding cinematography and great acting skills. It's a refreshing concept. I'm sold. Always watched Chen Xiao's dramas before.
