Yes, in the novel, only shi yi and ZSC are the ones being reincarnated. Other characters are not mentioned precisely.

I think the writer made the smart move handling reincarnation issues by making two separate dramas. As far as I know, reincarnation stories are banned in China, but this one passed the harsh censorship smoothly with a little change. I'm looking forward to see it 😊
