The jokes on you because homecha is still on 8.9 and did way better than startup in both rating and on Netflix...…
@ponnu I actually don't badmouth dramas because I know the hard work of all the staff that works on them. So, nice try baiting me with Hometown Cha, but it won't work. I wish that drama success. I'm only talking about Start-Up. It seems you're really salty right now, so I'd recommend some water first. And then maybe some common sense cuz KSH will never reach the same level again. š
I didnāt expect much from the third iteration of the story. BOY WAS I WRONG! ML and FL were insanely good. And somehow, using the parallel story, the drama team brought out hidden creativity, and in my opinion, the best iteration you will see. I honestly donāt cry during dramas. After the movie a moment to remember, this is the second time I cried. š„ŗš
Lol tbh there is one good thing that came out of this drama. I now know who the real ones are lol. If you're on team Nam Do-San, do send a friend request lol.
According to your list, you gave Start-Up a 1.0 rating...Who's the childish one? You should be ashamed of yourself…
@Lily , I'm just pointing out your entitlement. You came here to share your opinion, so expect others to do the same. A 1 is a ridiculous score. 3,4,5,6? That's fine if you hated the show. But 1? That just meant you were pissed off Kim Seon Ho didn't get the girl at the end. There are so many hard-working cameramen, technicians, and staff. But you chose to overlook all those things and give the drama a 1. I'm sorry but that's so petty.
That's so disgusting that people here are overjoyed to see other downfall. It's totally fine if you don't like…
According to your list, you gave Start-Up a 1.0 rating... Who's the childish one? You should be ashamed of yourself for being an irrational stan. We're all gonna enjoy not seeing KSH for a while...so keep being "disgusted".
RIP to all Han Ji-Pyung fans. Y'all really played yourselves, didn't you? This is at least a 9.0 drama. Kim Seon Ho stans lowered the ratings to 8.1... Now they suffer the consequences of their delusion.
The most ironic part is the dude chose to do romance movies cuz everyone liked his romantic angle that was shown in start-up. And now directors are dropping him from movies cuz his scandal goes directly against the romantic angle. This is karma š.
EDIT: Even if the scandal goes a different way, it takes two people to be in a relationship. This guy CHOSE a manipulative girl. He CHOSE to be associated with her. And his reputation will rightfully suffer as a result.
Excellent drama. Namgoong Min is amazing as always - he is, imo, the best Korean actor. I might be biased, but this shouldn't be binged. I think it loses a lot of value this way. I binged 10 episodes, and it seemed, well, mediocre in terms of its storyline (even DP handled suspense better). In hindsight, waiting every week for episodes is probably what the makers wanted and intended.
Lee Se Hee is soooooo pretty. I was hoping she was my age (hehe), and I look and she's 29?????? She looks 10 years younger. Honestly, I can't believe she's more famous. This might be her breakout role though. WOW, gonna watch this just for her.
Most of you sissies overuse the word toxic. Idk what the reason for this is - terrible self esteem, princess complex, bad male role models, or just being bird brained - accept that some people aren't born perfect like you. ML needed FL to teach him how to be a person. Thatās not ātoxicā, thatās called growth. His mother was barely around. Now, I also know some of yāall have this thing where if the guy is too hot (and basically yāall have no chance) you hate on him. This is probably why you like the SML (who mind you is a good person but isnāt the one for FL). I sense the same saltiness yāall showed for Han Ji Pyung in start-up. Again, considerably less hotter than Nam Do San, so maybe yāall dreamed you had a chance? Grow up.
Weirdly right? You would think it would be better now, but its not?
Yea, I'm surprised it's not better. So many new dramas build up the love triangle and tension, but imo, it gets resolved too easily. I think it's a case of trying to do too much (comedy, side characters, etc). The older dramas know that the real gold is in the romantic tension.
Everybody has their own right to give their own rating. Do it as you wish. This is a Netflix drama though, and it's going to have worldwide attention. Foreigners aren't going to go on MDL to check the ratings. Chances are they're gonna watch...and really like this drama. This is the 3rd 10/10 drama of 2020 after Itaewon Class and World of the Married.
