It's actually becoming more interesting to me.
There, that's your problem. I don't think this series is meant to focus on romance. Basically, they are fighting for the throne, so you could think of it like Game of Throne.

Finished up to ep 22 and I feel like ep 20 is the saddest episode for Asule. How he was waiting for his new wife…
I think you forget the fact that he knew he won't has much time left to live. So I think he actually don't mind and probably glad that Yuran has chosen Ji Ye instead.
