Some thought:- friendship between Kuea and Diao is really precious- I was laughing when Lian practically dropped…
Haha, yes, in the car, Lian asked him something and Kuea said "chai" in this abrupt, drunk, breathy way and I was like, damn, that is some good drunk acting!!!
There's something really off about this series. Yet again we have a couple with a toxic relationship who we're…
I think Hia is purposefully antagonizing Kuea to try to get Kuea to behave normally. But I agree, the first time someone shut a door in my face, it would be over.
I'm a little confused. So the grandfather enters two boys into an engagement? He just assumed they would grow…
Yeah, I saw it more as Kuea said, like a lot of kids do, that he wanted to grow up to marry his best friend, and Grandpa was like, Oh, wait till your older, and then when Grandpa was like, I'm gonna die, he was like, Kuea still is in love with Hia, so let me ask Hia to take care of him, if that is something Hia can do. And Hia said yes
Love the world they are in. Interesting story line. Only thing that's odd is why would he think the other should…
But they grew up together, that's what's weird to me. In the flashback, Kuea is a normal kid. So at some point, Kuea must have decided to start changing his personality in front of Hia. I want to see that flashback, so that we get more information about why Kuea has been faking it. Also, Hia obviously knows that Kuea is faking and that's why Hia has been provoking him (like when he let that woman put her hands all over him)
So, Gen Y is basically charming trash, but the trailer for this one makes it look almost Korean drama quality. I was shocked when I saw Starhunter was making this. Other than Gen Y, didn't they also do Hotel Stars? Cause that was just trash. Starhunter is moving up? Hired some better people? Idk, but this looks actually good.
some people are still confused. the thing is Hia knows that kuea is Kirin but he want's him to admit it himself.…
I mean, I know this is a drama, so miscommunication is like 90% of the plot, but couldn't Hia just say, "I know you are being fake, I want to see the real you..." ???? Of course, then, no drama, haha!
So good! I love Fah and Thorn. I love Aii and Saen! I love Vee and Dome!
My only complaint about this show is that sometimes during dialogue, they wait too long for the next person to speak. It kind of slows things down. It's like each character takes an extra 1 second pause before the next person speaks.
But otherwise, I love it! My favorite part of this ep was all of the smiles from Fah and Thorn's teammates!
Just because you do like a show, doesn't mean it's not problematic. Stalking someone is objectively a bad thing…
It's not your place to tell me what is for me and what is not for me. I can and will decide that for myself. My point, which I will explain differently to you, is that, just because you like it doesn't mean it's not problematic.
As I said, I haven't decided how I feel about it yet. It's too early to say. I want to see if Jaeyoung ever acknowledges that he is being a creepy stalker and apologizes or tries to make up for it in some way.
Jaeyoung may feel like Sangwoo wronged him, but, objectively, Sangwoo did not wrong him. People who expect others to do work for them are the ones in the wrong.
That being said, I do like their chemistry. For me, it will depend on if Jaeyoung later acknowledges that he is being a creepy stalker and tries to fix it.
If you don't like the characters or the plot devices (Jaeyoung pestering Sangwoo), nobody is forcing you to watch…
Just because you do like a show, doesn't mean it's not problematic.
Stalking someone is objectively a bad thing to do, it doesn't matter if you're doing it to be cute or because you're in love or for whatever reason.
As many people have all said so many times in the comments on my drama list, just because somebody is doing a bad thing does not mean you can't show it in a TV show, as long as it is clear to the audience it's a bad thing.
Jaeyoung's behavior is problematic, as long as the show portrays his behavior as problematic then the show itself is fine. Series are problematic when they show problematic behavior and try to make the audience think that it's normal or okay.
The jury is still out on this one for me. If someone behaved towards me like Jaeyoung, I would definitely call the police. I'm just waiting to see if his behavior is redeemed or not.
So, Jaeyoung is a complete, creepy stalker. I get the attraction for folks, because the leads have great chemistry, but if some rando started following me around like that, I would definitely just start recording it for about 3 days and then call the police. What a creep!
Also, people who don't do their part of the group project are trash. Just trash.
