HJ told/threatened SY that if SY will say about her lies to the King, she will also reveal that SY tried to the King (your assumption might be true). That line "you will lose someone precious too". Both referred the King as someone precious.

You're right. K-drama fans who used to watch perfect romantic male leads in dramas, would not feel satisfied with Our King. In sageuks, Cheol Jong must be the most unforunate monarch. It reminds me of Ji Chang Wook's character in Empress Ki, another puppet King/Prince. Cheol Jong here is stronger and smarter.

Just keep it up! It is getting better in each episode. You confuse with these characters in early episodes because they did not show clear backstories. Character development, Chemistry and Acting of the leads are all excellent.

He was never willing to do so. You can see his brother is constantly pressuring on him to murder her. He was just making sure if she found out their plans or not, or whose side is she really in. You can see in ep 8, the king said to the queen "I want you to NOT be my enemy. You do not have to be my ally. Just do NOT become one of my enemies"

Me too. I want to see King & Queen together all the time. Their chemistry is off the charts.
