Yep seems like it at beginning I signed up thinking it will be a good romcom but now it looks like a lifedrama/sitcom hmm missing JCW charm

The only romance they developed in entire 9 epsiodes is in between YJ&SJ it took 9 long episodes for YJ to say goodbye to CDH and moving on with SJ ohh and what the hell is director thinking while involving JSB with 2nd lead to complicate things even more we have damn 7episodes only to settle this hmm I think in last episodes we will get a time jump

If you are in to romcom with bit of politics

I spent my entire quarantine time on Re-watching her amazing dramas hope she starts acting soon in a new drama asap

Gong Hyo Jin and Ryu Seung Beom met in this drama and been together for 10years later on break-up they went on different ways hmm feeling sad for both

it is expected I hope Princess Consort does the job well like the evil sister, in the beginning, we saw how evil sister acted as a good one but later her character panned out into pure evil I think Princess Consort will take the charge from evil sister

At last, the episodes I'm rooting to see from the beginning is done and we have reached a critical juncture in this drama where writers n director dealt these episodes very well without going over-boarding of emotions/mind blocks/melodrama and I hope they continue this pace and brilliance in upcoming episodes

I think Liu Yi Kang is confined to his quarters for many years misleading all his subjects that he was seriously ill so it is a possibility that they wouldn't know him what he looked like

i think on epi1 failed assassination attempt was on night fall even they didn't have face to face at all

I know I watched previews here and there on weibo&other blogs but by watching those previews I found many Easter eggs which made me too excited to see how the writers are going to panned them in upcoming episodes

I never thought Li quin can give a performance like this considering her previous dramas in the Joy of life her character is weak and less important but in this drama, she done pretty well both in action and romance sequences

but now I have to wait for 1-2years ohhh

Hope Liu Yi Kang&Shen Lige are gonna have a face-off before episode 24 or we have to wait till next week if it is gonna happen next week I will die with excitement for sure my poor heart can't wait for another week and I think this is the most intriguing drama of this year

we need more villains to keep us engage for another 25+episodes at present we have a shortage of strong antagonists so I was rooting for her to be evil and cause more troubles

if you hate this one then u can't like most of Chinese Historical/costume dramas I would even watch this drama if it has 100+episodes writers did a great job in molding " Legend of Concubine’s Daughter Minglan" novel into drama every character in this drama is well written and executed and there is not a single boring/useless conversations in my view I suggest you to give it another chance may be this time you may like it

i hope the big reveal will happen this week can't wait for one more week with this petty evil sis, other court politics lousy stuff
