I do not know if i can watch a xianxia drama better than ALP ... i thought legend of shenli will be good but their…
There's a lot of beautiful xianxia dramas. Even if it's long, I prefer more of it than modern dramas. Ashes of Love is my most favorite and will always be on top. I love Ancient Love Poetry too. I like the story and actors are amazing. Zhou Dongyu, I first watch her in a film so I knew she's a great actress. Xu Kai too. I'm a new fan of him since I watch thr Best Choice Ever though I like him in Story of Yanxi Palace before.
the rewatch value/index of this drama is hight, I guess
I always recommend to watch every series in one go too. Even if it's currently airing, it's better to just focus in one series at a time. I appreciate the drama more and understand better. Honestly, I myself never rely in a review if I would watch it or not. I'll always depends on the introduction of the series, trailer, oh mostly I didn't watch trailer, I just watch it because of interest of the actors and story. So far, I love ALP and the main leads are great actors too.
i'm still wondering what that puzzle was all about
The sunflower was supposedly for MCH but he is still undecided how to give it to her, that's what his grandma noticed too. That flower wasn't intended for her. The significance of the flower pot given to YZM, I think it's to show and teach him how to care for something. That it needs patience and perseverance.
Is the 60ep version missing scenes? There are 2 versions of this series, and I'm wondering if I'll be missing…
In Viki it's 60 episodes. On Netflix, WeTV it's 63 episodes. But nothing is missing from it. I think it was just how it was divided. Like The Oath of Love, TV version was 32 while the original version it's 29.
There was a time when I replayed the stabbing part endless times while my snot was pouring out and my heart hurt…
When I watched it the first time I was really shocked. Honestly, I have no idea about the whole plot, I didn't watched trailer and didn't read any reviews. The only thing I knew is what was written on Netflix about the unfeeling pill. That's the scene I barely repeat because I can't take that much. I got angry at Jinmi too when she did that. I felt all the pain of Xufeng when he heard her say "Never". I've only forgiven her when she did sacrifices and tried to correct things.
I decided to rewatch this drama and it's just as I remember:An epic story with amazing actors, beautiful production…
After several years, yes, Ashes of Love is the best Asian drama I ever watch. That's for me though. The emotional roller-coaster this has brought to the audience is a wonderful experience. Truly unforgettable.💜
well I watched like half of the drama till ep 31 I'm ain't feeling things tbh ain't able to understand how xufeng…
Also, all those little things that you may think are boring to watch is just a way to slowly prepare you for the upcoming episodes. The writer honestly made this an excellent drama by having those scripts and transitions. How they make the audience understand each characters. AOL is the kind of drama that it gets better and better and better until the very end.
Trust me, those boring days you think, are the things you'd wish for to go back when it reach its end.

They didn't say in the drama at first, that Jinmi was with Xufeng for 100 years. Guiding her and teaching her everything. But they will tell you at the end of the drama, like in the epilogue.
They cannot show us the 100 years of them but look how Jinmi's body changes that means she became a woman when she was with Xufeng.
I just finished this drama today, so I am going to write this because my memory is still fresh. I really like…
Honestly, no one knew this would be a tearjerker. When I found out about Yifei, I was devastated. I feel Ying Zi, if it was me, I would definitely feel the same. It would be very hard to accept that kind of downfall in your life.
I could not agree more! Can you give me some Chinese drama recommendations?
Yes, when it comes to costume drama, C-drama did very well every aspect. For a first time watcher of C-drana, I would recommend Ashes Of Love. It has a great pace and character development. The Lost You Forever, Immortal Samsara.
