...they are not, in any way, related to each other. They didn't even know of each other's existence, let alone, had a "family connection". The literal only way they are "family" is a name on a piece of paper, a "family" neither of them wants to be a part of.
I don't mind that you are dropping it, I couldn't care less.
But I find it quite unfair to the characters to see it like this. When the real fucked up problem is TONY, adopting Alphas for their special abilities and then selling/breeding them to make a profit, THAT IS HUMAN TRAFFICKING.
And you're stuck on the fact that Charlie and Babe, who love each other dearly, were adopted by the same fucked up fucker, who doesn't love them and only wants them to be a part of his "family" because of the money he can earn from fucking SELLING THEM!
So yes, I am justifying it by saying that they are not blood-related.
