I agree with all four of your points. The senior needs to stop whatever it is that he’s doing, respect boundaries…
You’re definitely not overly sensitive, the bathrobe was inappropriate.
I assume the next challenge is telling their families that they are a couple. Hopefully they will continue to be a strong and happy couple. According to iQIYI there are ten episodes in total, MDL says 12.
I think it’s Junxi’s nephew because in the preview for the next episode he receives a message from his brother asking him if he’s dating Tuo. I’m assuming this hyper independent child who appears to have travelled alone shared this information with his father ( Junxi’s brother)
YAYYYY TUO YOU DIDN'T LET ME DOWN! SO HAPPY RNNNN1. The way Tuo cares so deeply about Junxi, like he literally…
I agree with all four of your points.
The senior needs to stop whatever it is that he’s doing, respect boundaries including being fully dressed for all conversations and focus on work.
I doubt that there are many foundations with a stronger foundation than Tuo and Junxi’s. They are both working together to maintain their relationship.
The NC scene at the end of episode 3 was very well executed, dark with haunting violin music. It felt so mature…
Their relationship is based on sharing the same intellect as well as being physically attracted to each other.
They had been communicating with each other via the articles printed in the newspaper, by the time they met in person they had already had several conversations.
His relationship with Naran is cheating on his wife and Naran’s partner but it’s made more complex by that fact that Krailert is trapped in a marriage that he was forced into , he doesn’t to be married to a woman and he does not and cannot love her.
i see a lot of ppl anticipate a bad ending for lert and naran where one of them dies, but personally i feel like…
I think you’re right about Victor but I also think there will be serious repercussions for Victor’s dad if and when his book is published. Victor’s mother might experience overwhelming loss & grief.
Okay with my unhealthy obsession of rewatching the last episode again. I can't stop admiring the series more.…
I can’t answer your question about the general response to Shine but personally I am really enjoying it. I’ve watched a lot of BL and the quality of writing, acting and directing varies considerably.
I admit that I do enjoy cute BLs with beautiful scenery and happy couples and these seem to be the most popular but I also need to watch BLs that have depth. Shine is in a unique category of BLs that are about so more than just the romantic or intimate relationship between the main leads with beautiful beaches in the background.
I am keen to know more about Thailand’s history. I would visit my local library but the fact that no one would have left me secret messages in the books makes me feel a little sad. .
It’s been said before but I have to say it again. What on earth was that scene at the end of episode 8? Why was the scene included at all? It would have made more sense to show the two characters having a conversation about taking their relationship to the intimacy stage and then the next scene could have just shown them lying side by side afterwards without the awkward nonsense we were subjected to.
It is possible to create BL stories without NC scenes, Old Fashioned Cupcake is one of my favourites JBL and a perfect example of creating a series without no NC scenes but the relationship between the MLs is still believable.
I’d like to know what the reason is behind the dead fish kisses and the plank pose. Are the actors uncomfortable with each other? Has the director being forced to participate in this project and is showing their resentment by creating odd moments?
This series in the same category as Flirt Milk and Dinosaur Love in terms of slow moving story and the standard of acting.
There have been a large amount of BL series released this year and there are still more on the way. Viewers expect more and this series isn’t delivering so far.
