For anyone looking for the official link to watch Manner of Death on WeTV, here it is: https://wetv.vip/en/play/bi3mcnv6qg0os9k-Manner-of-Death/b0035046n4p-EP1--Manner-of-Death
Some of them only became friends because of dating or knowing someone who dated their friend which is how it works…
That's not necessarily true. Not all friends groups are formed that way. Besides it's really awkward to stay friends or rather be best friends with your ex's friends after you have broken up. And tbh I don't think this show wants to represent reality or anything since most of the plot and characters are pretty much hyperbolic. You can't take them seriously but you still want to see how much more drama they get into. That where the entertainment appeal comes in.
Why can't all these people just date outside their friend circle and maintain a friend zone with their friends?! Where the heck are all the other girls and guys in Thailand?
Compare this comment section with cherry maho comment section. It's a huge difference and its so painful that…
You should totally check out this Filipino BL called "Gaya sa Pelikula" which translates to "Like in the movies". The chemistry between the leads is amazing. It's got a great script that really touches on sensitive issues when it comes to the LGBT community rather than a overly sexualised BL drama. And the OST just enhances the overall experience. I also really loved "I told sunset about you". By far the BEST cinematography I have seen in any BL series. Each episode feels like a freaking movie. It's so beautiful. And both these series aren't iffy about consent. I hope BLs in the future continue this trend. ACTL was utter disappointment.
some of the scenes, plots, music and etc remind me of Call Me By Your Name. Is it a coincidence or ... with all…
I too got CMBYN vibes from the show mostly because how well it was shot and that realistic gradual portrayal of self-awakening (especially with that coconut lol).
It just came out in theaters in Taiwan so it will probably be a while before it comes comes out online that too with eng subs. All we can do now is wait patiently.
