wow.....everyones so worried about the male leads and the romance. y'all are literally attacking the drama because…
honestly, it's not even about romance anymore to me. but the team is just plain stupid that i don't even want to root. maybe because i'm old enough, i don't see them as realistic. the only one i could relate is just Han Ji Pyeong. that's why he's the star of this drama.
after eps 11, i'm sure that Dal Mi will end up with Do San. for sure. it's okay, Han Ji Pyeong could end up with me instead. he's so precious, i want to pat and hug him so badly !
whoa the comment section is still on fire xD still #TeamHanJiPyeong all the way tbh <3
i don't really care anymore whether he'll get Dal Mi or not, cause in my opinion, he's actually the main lead, since everyone actually revolves around him. i just love his character, and wish the happiness for him, whatever it is.
I think a lot of the mistakes you point out here falls on the writers shoulder. Let me explain. In the writers…
I actually watch this drama because of nam joo hyuk at first. i watch all of his drama, and really like him in Dazzling.
but i have to say, that he's not an expert actor. he seems have limited range of acting (or maybe still learning).
for example, in Dazzling, he play such a gloomy, miserable and unfortunate person, but he's really nailed in it. he's really really good in it.
in Weighlifting fairy Kim Bok Joo, he play such a happy-go-lucky and simple minded person. he's also good in it.
but, in who are you, he suppose to play a charming, loving character. but his acting is really plain - not even memorable. idk, maybe his character isn't interesting enough, and too bad, he don't have capability to make it interesting.
in The Bride of Habaek, he supposed to act as a God, who is charming, powerful, sacred. but, he can't get into his character. nothing charming about his acting.
i think, he only good in character who doesn't require high capability of acting / deep acting.

but honestly, i think it have something to do with NJH acting as well.
i'm not saying NJH is bad actor, but he just can't really convey the feeling of "a sensitive, insecure, passionate, and someone in tune with their emotion NDS".
in Record Of Youth, for example, eventhough the male lead show hardships and not a totally perfect person, but Park Bo Gum acting really save it. i eventually could relate to him, and i love him in it.
imagine if Park Bo Gum actually act as NDS. i'm not sure that we're all having SLS like now :")
after hearing good reviews about this show and seeing the comment session i finally decided to give this drama…
your comment is really nailed it to the point !
"the simple fact that the sole reason for dosan to fall for dalmi is because she is the first pretty girl who was nice to him is very shallow and unattractive... he also makes his entire dream and future about her just after meeting her for like 2-3 times... " --> this is exactly the reason why i can't connect to his love for dal mi.
i'm hopelessly romantic person, and Dosan's reason for liking Dalmi isn't strong enough to make me want to root for him. it's as if like, any girl will fine for him as long as she's pretty and she's nice to him. not exactly must be dalmi. and he's like a child who liking something and immediately want to have possession of it.
well, i start thinking that maybe the writer actually intend to make HJP as SDM soulmate, while NDS is her lover.
it makes me remember Indian Movie "Kal Hoo Na Hoo". the Female Lead eventually marry the second lead because the first lead is died. but even after she gets old, she never forget the first lead, and always keeping him in her heart as her soulmate.
love is weird. you might be deeply connected to someone, but you won't always end up with him/her. but you know that in the deep of your heart, you'll always admiring and loving that one person.

and the ost too, omg. it's really beautiful.
i'm still listening to it even today.
i also like Shahrukh khan, and Kal Hoo Na Hoo is one of the best drama of him. i really love that movie :")

he'd be chef there.
i can't wait !
i just hope they'll cast a great female lead to accompany him.
