What is endearing about Bad buddy is how they've managed to keep the focus on Pat and Pran and how their relationship has been changing over time.
Had the show been similar to an ordinary bl, the focus certainly would have been on the freshy music festival and their elaborate preparations. ( like girls boys screaming over hot dudes , other long ass performances)
But here it is clearly not so, since the focus is on THEIR SONG and how IT being played is impacting Pat and Pran. Pran by playing the song is letting go of his one sided love , once and for all , since he knows it means nothing to Pat, and Pat on the other hand is getting crushed by the guilt of not having realised his feelings earlier
Same goes for the Architecture play. Had it been a normal bl, they would have definitely used the actor playing Kwan to make Pran jealous.
But here they didn't do so. Why? Cause it's not essential to the plot. Pran clearly trusts Pat at this point in time as they have already taken A STEP FORWARD together in their relationship. Him getting jealous over petty touches and interactions wouldn't have contributed anything significant towards the plot.
Another more remarkable thing about Bad buddy is how they are reducing the sphere of Pat and Pran's world.
At the beginning, their world had parents, rivalry, friends in it. But as time went by it became Pat and Pran's sphere. Why? Beacuse it's their relationship, their world and their story. Nothing else really counts.
Good grief. We've been camping here for days now. The ranking goes up at snails pace.
The thing is Abeham, we are tired of low quality shows. We're annoyed by daily dose of end of the year hot dude bls. I really want BB to make it to top 50 so that more people get to know about it.
I would have even missed out on this show. I watched out of pure curiosity and stayed as I was intrigued by how different it turned out to be.
On first watch, it may seem like other thai bls but it is clearly not so. If the show doesn't get recognition here, it'll be difficult to get more people to know about it.
If more people dont know, we know the drill... directors will again drop those bls with toxic tropes, stalker clubs, manipulative female leads.

I guess you're right. But they were out on a date and he ruined it. They didn't get to hang around more,because of the fear. Pat did get a sniff though. Chai has been forgiven as of now😆
